I got my wife to book the car at a different sales center and paid the deposit on the 22nd of July. Till now no car... silver advance...

I just came back from a different sales center and he said 2 weeks if buying cash...

Sigh... don't know what to do....

But I finally got a chance to test drive and sit in the car...

First thing I did was to push the front passenger sit all the way to the back... Then I sat in the back behind that seat... still got room for my knees to wiggle.. Also I am about 178cm and I can seat comfortably at the back.. It does look straight but doesn't feel so bad...

Then I sat in the drivers seat... okey now with the seat all the way down (vertically, as the steering wheel can't be moved up or down) and to the back a bit I was comfortable at the wheel as well...not perfect though

Then I tested the windows up and down... the sales guy was looking at me funny... and and then I said got some cars with problem, he said it is not proton... well whatever...

Test drove the car... the NVH is not so good... but the engine and response is okey... to compare my other car is a city 2009 and perdana v6...

The ride was okey... the inside looks and feels differently than the exterior...

I agree the car looks lifted from the back but it doesn't bother me... might be handy when parking at odd spots...

The smart key is smaller than I thought, and yes if you don't have power in the smart key battery you can't start the car..

Overall no regret booking and ready to try perodua instead or proton..

Just wish could get the car faster...

Went for test drive the bezza advance this afternoon. The car feels light but the suspension quite good on the bumpy road. The throttle feels so slow compare to my 1.6 persona. Air-conditioning are very good even on level one only in the hot afternoon. There are no minimal sound proof even the advance version that you will hear the plastic sound when u knock at the car doors trims. There are toys like the GPS and link to your Android phone. An idle stop thingy alike the Mazda istop will stop the engine and off the air conditioning when u stop the car at the traffic light to save fuel. The cars are selling like hotcakes and it's a long waiting list for the 1.3 brown color  variance.

Perception: a poor man mini version of vios. Safe fuel is the selling point.

Conclusion: I booked brown color advance to replace my 8 years old high fuel consumption and soon have to change timing belt second time persona.

The feeling: like downgrade a medium big bikes to scooter when u lazy/tired to drive the heavy bikes and seldom speed anymore. A nice simple easy to drive city )car preferred.

Exactly what I was thinking...

Also hoping that the after sales support and car service provided by perodua to be better than proton...

Guys, this was taken from bottom of Driver seat.

I guess this was specially designed for hold something like a fire extinguisher?

If so, has someone tried to hold with a fire extinguisher?

Does it hold properly? (doesn't rolling or making noise...etc)

And what's the size of your fire extinguisher? (500g, 1,2KG)

(passenger side is to hold tools by default)

Thanks for the reply. I have asked the SA who also suggested the configuration as you. But I still felt weird whereby the center seat belt still persist in the central position whereby I can't see the same 60:40 foldable seats issue on other cars  sad.gif

Then set like this lor, a bit messy but useful.

I'm still waiting for same spec and color as yours but add gear up stylish package. Booking on 3 Aug and signed loan agreement on 10th. Until now no news from SA.

If that is the case then Perodua has to change the glass for you, right?
