I test drove Bezza advance yesterday and at first I thought it must have such a nice pickup due to light weight than my Myvi but high horsepower engine with Dual VVT-i some more, but my perception was totally wrong. It was quite underpowered. sad.gif  Is that something that I'm missing here? Perhaps it was due to the 'eco' thingy that must be disable to reach the normal state ? hmm.gif My father planning to buy this car after he retired next year to replace his 'underutilized' Alza.

axia, bezza using drive by wire throttle pedal, delay on response that why we can feel the car which is under power plus eco mode always will take your engine speed RPM go low.

im owning toyota wish zge20 which have sport mode and eco mode. when we set or using the eco mode, the car feel heavier to drive, throttle pedal, rpm beinf controlled, aircond compressor cut off cut in being controlled, and et cetera. but when we switch to sport mode, the car feel lighter, much better, rpm needle get to rev high easily, overtaking much easier.

in this case, you guys will get to used of this condition, it is matter of fact that the eco mode will adjust and controlled the car to combust less carbon footprint, and fuel efficient at the end.

just sharing mt experience of owning toyota wish and axia se auto which will be traded in this weekend to get bezza 1.3L advanced.

it's not the angle
iriz seat is also quite straight up

the problem is bezza seat is thin, short and straight
the iriz seat has shape to take account the human body
thus the bezza lacks in back and buttom support
making it uncomfortable.

that's why all my perodua driving cousin all buy a Ozawa back pillow. it's not great but it helped.

anyway gonna get my car next week.
*
Have you heard about weight reduction to get better fuel efficiency? Thats why proton car always much heavier compared to perodua.

New saga FLX with getrag not bad la... RPM below 3.5k at 110km/h, I find it wasn't so noisy as well... (Maybe due to wind/road noise silenced the engine noise  brows.gif )

I see youtube Axia MT at 5th gear gets 3k RPM at 100km/h, hopefully this bezza is same also for 1.0 version so that 1.3 version will be even lower  laugh.gif
*
Always take note that 3cylinder engines behaviour is not refined engines, high vibration, high rpm at low speed, but to compared with good refined 4cylinder engines is much better, less vibration, low rpm at low speed/medium speed and etcetera.

Thats the difference between 3cylinder engine axia and 4cylinder engine bezza.

Itulah sebab im trade in my axia to get bezza 4cylinder engine which is much better...

QUOTE(darth5zaft @ Aug 5 2016, 08:30 PM)
sorry
I know you love proton
but I think it's very unsportsmanlike to post such picture and trolls pipu who paid good money for this car.

so let me tell the rationalization on why I bought the bezza

1) even current saga Sv kosong without even ABS or isofix already is 34k and they make only revenue of 500 each, do you think the price list is a bit too syiok sendiri? expecting P1 to lose money on every unit sold?

2) this is not a "new" saga it's the facelift of old saga which is already 10 years old + it's just a sedan version of savvy which is also really old. so it's really old compared to bezza base car the daihatsu Mira es.

3)safety wise, saga no high tenstile steel, bezza got. it's not up to iriz standards but still competent with hilux. and it does score better than iriz on asean ncap. probably I would put lots of steel bar once I get the car.

4)old campro engine, it's reliable but it's old. punch CVT too is a nuisance. and what with we gonna totally f*** you up by selling better version next year marketing ploy?

5) still never learn. how many times do we say we don't want key hole at the boot? we don't want punch, we don't want campro, we don't want half baked products. the push start on iriz and preve is stupid. wtf? push key into slot, press brake, press buttons 3 times or  push clutch, enter reverse, then push start??? why bothered, it's soo much easier by just cracking keys.

6) ugly based model. all non premium proton car is ugly. and make us fell like poorfag. small tyre, tall antenna, colored b colums, short spoiler. seriously, we Malaysian must safe face, you see bezza even the cheapest one got shark fin antenna, black b pillars, high keras rear lights , same size wheels make us feel ok ish lah.

7) since I already have the iriz. I can vouch for the persona, but it design is soo awkward and ugly only a mother can love. perhaps rather than 2 different segments cars they should just make one very competent car just like P2 did with axia and bezza.

8) even if I can wait till Next year, I still won't buy it and be a test rats for their new kinda rushed engine. remember the much hated gen-2?

9) accessories!! the thought that we can be able to upgrade the car with non lalabeng design accessories  but still covered with warranty is a very nice feeling. I hope they will sell leather cover for side door, projectors headlamps, arm rest in the future

nice write ups....
