Ya..silverstone is really stone.. they promote that it last much longer.. of course, hard tyres.

I also changed to XM2 in this recent tyres, going up genting matching the speed of Vios going around the corners,  the yoko in the vios was 'screaming' and screectching sound.

Correct tyre pressure is good to monitor from time to time.  I found 30lb to be good fit for comfort, 32lb seems harsh for me on rough roads.

xm2 will be noisy by the end of it's life, it's a longer life tyre compared to m3 as well. my house saga blm have xm2 which is 70k km mileage and the thread is about 2mm from TWI still, but the thread block is already showing chipping mark, but no crack still. maybe the saga NVH sucks so i feel like it's really irritating when i pass rough roads.

Ya.. tyres will be noisier when it is old.
70k km is dxxx good liao.

Noise level depends on many things for different cars. I sat on Saga BLM 1.6 before, it is jialat with stock tyres. and the FLX model, the engine sound, gearbox sound, and road noise.. my friend changed to a little bigger rim and tyres.. lagi jialat.

My Alza now is 5 yr old now. I have plans in place now.
1. DIY Clean the AirCond and change the filter. (Done) now aircond is fresh and colder.
2. Change ATF DIII and ATF filter (this saturday)
3. DIY Painting project. Started getting the 'frame' ready for covering during painting job. Putty - Material ready for some touch up of dings and deep scratches.
4. Undercarriage 'painting'

Has anyone encountered petrol fume issue with their alza.

I pumped full tank on my alza with engine off (no top up, I let the petrol gun nozzle auto trip). No petrol fume the moment I entered the car. Petrol smell appear after 30 seconds or 100 Metre travel. It last for about 10 seconds then the smell goes off.

The car is 2 years and 6 months old. The petrol fume only started to appear recently. Anyone who has encountered the same issue and know what is going on kindly shed some lights. Thanks.

I will complain it to the service center on next free service. Need to do some homework before that. Can't put too much hope on them.

Anyway I thought if filler cap it would trigger check engine light because of evap sensor. On the fuel filter part I will hint them hopefully they would do the pressure test.

Me too, tyre noisy, at 73k km (1st set)
Chipping marks too for the front two.
Alignment slightly out, think of waiting to do it when chg tyres (maybe 80k km) but dunno is it the correct decision to delay.

In jb, I survey xm2 195 55 15 is RM250 per pcs.
CC5 has promotion for same size. Anyone can give review CC5 vs xm2?

Ok thanks bro. I will go check out yours.
I ask is RM170 or RM175 +6% at Taman Daya.
my question is how is the performance of CC5 compare to xm2. and the distance it can last under normal driving.
Thanks

I'm wondering how would the petrol smell enter the cabin due to faulty fuel cap. Anyway I'm really appreciate your suggestion. I will note that to the service center if they couldn't diagnose the petrol fume issue without reproducing it.

Just had my Alza changed ATF (D3) and ATF Filter. It is smoother with much lesser jerk when driving. Will need to monitor the differences.

I checked my Alza's car owner's manual, D3-SP is the one stated. Not sure about newer Alza which has newer type of gearbox. Anyone can double check.

Just to make sure that we have the right information for both type of gearbox.
