Hi.. I think there are people discuss about this already previously, but too many message already. Anyways my question is, I know our tyre size is 185/55R15.. but we can use 195/55R15.. So what is the outcome when we change to bigger size.. more stable?

alza pick up underpower is normal, 1160kg with max 136Nm @4400rpm, you can't expect much from it. moreover it made worsen with the retuned gearbox (for FL models onwards)

he is comparing a sub 1000kg metal vs a 1160kg beast, surely different.

Just got my alza 2 weeks ago. And now my milege is already 1109km. Time for the fisrt service.

Anyone can tell me what are the things need to be change and parts are need not to change on the 1st 1k service. I do not want the perodua to simply just change the part that are not ready to change.

sorry newbie here..hope sifu here can tell me.

I can't remember really. I think 1k is mostly checking only. If change engine oil just change. An have free labour for first 3 service. I opt out of the windscreen washer, coz not really using it.

Just complete my 70k service. =)

from what I remembered..4 years ago in 1k servis. normally they will show us what to be changed/service.

I opted out these:
1. windscreen washer
2. battery connector patches (donno what it is really named liao)
3. battery water

I just do:
1. engine oil + oil filter
2. add cabin filter / AC filter. (note that you can get good price outside about rm18 a pc or in lowyat now).

I think have to put warning on first page. I kena from outside mechanic. Uses the red cap SP3. Even the spare part shop says its the correct oil. WARNING, ALZA CANNOT USE SP3. You cannot buy the D3-SP outside. You have to go back to Perodua to change ATF. I just changed back to D3 green cap today after using SP3 for 6000km. There is a big difference in the gear box. I need to reflush again later. Very troublesome.

Let me update the fist topic again on this as warning.

What is the difference when u swap from sp3 to d3.

guess you having not smooth gearshifting or gear hunting after slamming in sp3? i heard sp3 is oil with high friction modifier, maybe is a more slippery oil i guess....

D3 D3... I am using SP3 now. shoot... all mechanic and spareparts shope getting wrong info liao..
the manual did mentioned D3-SP...as this is not found outside...yet there are D3 and SP3...this could be the reason for the confusion. D3-SP, end up sp3..wtx.

I am changing to Toyota Type-IV next month as well as the filter. Searching for Daihatsu DIII-SP if can...

Today i went to sc to flush my gear box. Now hit 92,000km.
In the invoice, they are using ATF D3SP 18L. Is this the right ATF?
