Ok, let's say I bought the 4#3b now (RM580 full brushless) and when I master flying this heli few months later I will think about to buy 4G3 (RM880). Why not I just go for 4G3 now and this will saved me at least RM580...... I will try to learn a bit a time....slow slow hovering and try to avoid crash lor if can lar.....  biggrin.gif
*
You can try but only if you prefer to repair then hover it... rclxub.gif
Unless you can master it without crashing lar... whistling.gif
Also if you manage to hover the 4#3b then u can upgrade to bigger heli liao lor...
Maybe 450 or 500... whistling.gif
Don't think u'll still buy the 4G3 when u master the 4#3b...

But the choice still yours lar...
As for me i'll continue to learn from FP in FF, TL, 8 figure...
Then master it liao only move to CP heli...

hmm.gif hmm.gif FP or CP? hmm.gif hmm.gif
Ok, I like to confirm with u guys about the TX for coaxial, FP and CP. The control method (How to use the stick on the TX) for coaxial and fp is same, right? How about CP tx? Don't talk about 3d button lar.
That is the later stage after I master hovering and control the heli. If I switch on the 3d mode then control method will be different. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think I have no plan to get a bigger heli liao as I'm very lazy to go to the flying site. So I decide to go for 3d indoor heli direct…..hehe….

the control method is all the same on the tx depending on which mode u choose only la ...
most of us here use mode 2 ... throttle and rudder on the left stick and cyclic on the right stick

the 3d switch aka idle up ... gives u negative pitch and throttle position up (depending on how u set the throttle curve la)

Is good to have another spare since it is cheap... biggrin.gif
Really looking forward to have a Spektrum version of 4G3. This will be kinda long term project to me.

Yup both FP and CP TX and controlling method is the same...
Only thing is CP more 1 function which is cyclic control...
Mean more thing to set on the TX before flyable...
I think la... Wait for sifu to cerified.. whistling.gif

He use 2S cause he is using Trunigy ESC. If you use walkera should be alright. but 2S got more power and longer fly time isn't it? brows.gif
I think the video is quite straight forward.
2S Lipo not expensive too.

cyclic now controlled via electronics liau ... aka ... eCCPM
so all u have to do is just FLY and let the mixing be done by the TX ... some Tx have more than 1 setting for mixing so u can add or edit your own mix of the 120* swash for your special beat the sheet outta lukas riva moves ... hahahahahaa

if 2S then i have oso read very limited options for powerful motors ...
u would have oso noted he was using 2 x 1S lipos in series i think (have to go back check video see see) ... the extra weight really killing the flight times and flexibility of the 4g3

BTW it is a starting... the rest of the problem we'll have to solve it ourselves. There's a lot of way going towards the destination, isn't it?
Maybe if you are able to mod it differently and giving more pros than cons compare to the stock, then it proven that you are successful.
I do like to brainstorm it myself, other people's idea is juat a guide.
Enjoy the feel of every success projects = pricesless.

Mode 3??? shocking.gif Mostly people use mode1 / 2 unless you mod it yourself to suite you. A good radio should be able to do it.
Heard people mod TX before.

FUTABA and some other tx can set different modes one ...
SPEKTRUM cannot ... JR i think can but need to do some hardware tinkering inside the tx laa

cliffang ... i actually like th see how the other ppl do it ... then figure out a way to improve on what they did ... sort of like taiwan copy the rest of the world and gave the end product a cheap upgrade ... hahahahaha

Left stick
Move up/down - Heli go forward and backward
Move left/right - Heli spin or rotate 360 degree
Right stick
Move up/down - Motor or blade spin (Heli fly up/down)
Move left/right - Heli move to the left/right
I hope u understand.....blush.gif

thats MODE 1 laa ... common mode

heli spin around = YAW = RUDDER movement
heli move left right (for coaxials) = ROLL (single rotor helis will actually roll over)

so u have no probs with any RTF tx laa ...

if u want the 4G3 ... quick go get the almost new one uniqueXme is selling ... talk to him and see what best price u can get ... its listed as rm580 which is quite a big difference from new 4g3 already
as i mentioned earlier ... if u need a brushless tail .. then order online for usd35 .. kowtim
dont forget to get at least 3-4 lipos for more flying/practicing times ... hehehehe
