i oso got myself a 4 channel dolphin couple of weeks ago ...
now can hover and fly indoors without hitting too much stuff
my heli oso not hovering 100% stable even indoors with almost no breeze ... no idea about swashplate etc etc to adjust ...

now bored with it coz cannot fly outside due to wind ... thinking of upgrading .. go up to 6 channel or upgrade my existing set ... might not be worth it to upgrade coz upgrades will come close to buying a new set already

no REAL SHOP ah ?? only online selling ??
wanna see and feel more helis la .. hahaha

still waiting for hobbyist rather than sellers in here to chit chat and discuss

that walkera 4G3 V2 flying was done by u ?
this 4G3 V2 can fly outdoors well like the other 450/500 sizes or not ?? powerful enuff to brave mild breeze outdoors ??

yaa .. i think the 4G3 looks too light to be stable
most prolly have to be quite good/pro to handle it la i suppose ... too light and too power liau .. hahahahaa

me currently a wannabe in the RC heli stage .. still have difficulty doing tail out hovers and movements ... tail in no probs at all
just need to work more on the orientation ... have to do more simulation .. hahahahaaa

i dunno about the moves u are tokking about yet ... still trying to learn proper orientation .. hehehe
will try to dis-assemble the heli and learn about the parts and what i can do or cannot do .. calibration etc etc
saw an align with futaba tx last week in another shop .. no further upgrades necessary to do 3d i was told .. heli oso looks solid and nice ... tempted .. hahahahaa
but will have to do more simulator and control temptation due to current economic situation ..

asking price for that heli + futaba tx was rm1.5k ... dunno can nego how much .. will have to do more market research 1st .. i think that one is size 400 or 450 ... dont want something too big
this is a new shop in klang ... i havent had the time to go look at the 3 RC shops in amcorp yet for comparison ..

hmmm ... rm1.39k at hobby-asia almost price of that align with futaba liau lorr .. the futaba tx looks much nicer than the copterX one .. hehehe
have to be a smart consumer maa

its BRAND NEW for the heli and tx (RTF) .. not so knowledgeable about rc heli and tx yet .. thats why have to look around more
basically i am seriously bored and wanted something else coz the stoopid dolphin cannot fly outdoors ... earlier i tried again and ended up the small little breeze blew the heli into my gate altho i was doing my best to get the heli to go forward ... hahahhaa

the upper blade/shaft seems to have some sort of obstruction .. at certain point there is like a jamming kinda feeling
going to open up the dolphin this weekend ... see whats inside .. hehehe

btw ... i havnt gone to that shop yet to have another look at the rm1.5k RTF setup ... hopefully tomoro can go see see la

opened up my dophin ..
the main gear B (for the upper blades) has been eaten away on at least 10-15 teeth
no wonder la feels funny ... hehehe
later go buy replacement part ... lucky cheap only

changed the main gear ... touch up/align abit the swashplate without the kit
results ...
helis sways around lesser
power is mouch smoother and slightly better ..

all in all rm35 spent .. bought from the RC shops in amcorp mall
the 3rd floor fella quite snobbish .. once i mentioned ESKY the face straightaway no mood to do biz with me liau ... but he doesnt have the stuff i wanted anyways so dont care lorr ... hehehe

the esky is my current toy which i bought 2-3 weeks ago maa .. have to start somewhere what
actually one of my fishing reel alone oso cost more than nitro/electric heli kit liauu ... almost rm3k
so if ppl start fishing and using rm20 reel .. i still layan what ... have to start somewhere and kasi poison kow kow ... otherwise the hobby will die off one due to lack of support and encouragement and oso snobbishness ... hahaha

now getting too bored with the esky 4 channel liau maa ... no speed and power ... cannot even fly outdoors with mild wind ... so need to get something else lorr ... even all the shop ppl are like that then i rather pay extra and get things online .. i cannot stand ppl with attitude unless they have something i desperate want ... and RC heli is not one of them at the moment .. theres almost nothing $$$ cannot buy .. i rather pay more than to buy from a snobbish farker ... hehehe

everybody is fully aware the bad times we are facing now ... and picking up an expensive hobby is not good at this time .. hahahahaa

woohooo ... i just got a gift 4G3 6 channel with metal head .. huahahahaaa
last nite tried to hover the thing ... crashed all over the place

apparently my previous esky TX has been configured wrongly ..
supposed to be mode 2 ... rudder and throttle on left stik .. cyclic on right stik
the seller rewired the tx coz it was in mode 1 default and get it to mode 2 .. it appears the rudder/pitch was put onto the right stik and throttle/roll on left .. totally was used to this config liau ... then suddenly the PROPER one that came with the walkera completely different ... have to relearn everything again
hopefully wont crash too much laa .. hahaha

the bigger ones according to alot of websites are much easier ... i might get myself a cheaper 450 size laa .. MAYBE
