I think space requirements in the coming few years should be a major decision driver in your case.

I drive an M3 hatch and find the boot space to be unimpressive.
I struggle with 4 adults and luggage - one of the bags will have to travel at the back seat.
Golf bags are also an issue for me. I usually have to put down one seat for it to fit.
Child seats may be an issue, depending on how far back your passenger seat is pushed to.

I fall into the family with young child category, and find the 3 to be too small to be my primary car.
*
Well as mentioned in the previous post space not an issue for me as I still have a proton exora as back up.

4 adults? hmm.gif i maybe still single in the next 3-5 years laugh.gif

and i don't play golf tongue.gif

Labuan currently doesn't have any stock for the M6 so needs to be shipped over from KL. Also i need to clarify with customs on how they actually calculate the tax if i were to bring it back to West Malaysia a couple years later. If it's not that much then maybe it's not worth it i guess... hmmmmmm

Abg Lucifal busy buat sales. Big boss ask to clear 2016 model becoz now ald mid 2017.

And of coz a good sales rep should have good product knowledge including solution to the existing problems. Never know walk in customer would ask the same question too.

And also we're in the open forum we can seek answers or even better answers from many other people or owners other than sales rep. Sometimes owner's experience > sales rep. For the love of Mazda in this thread, many ppl would love to share the unbias information. Sharing is caring.

Cheers.

agree, even if they don't have the knowledge or not sure about it, being in the service line, to provide good service, should clarify with their expert, find out and get back to customer.

IMHO, that's the expectation of consumer nowadays, or at least that's my expectation.

Well kindly accept my apologies as a gentleman...to move on.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Actually I met a service advisor that acknowledges the issue...went into detail about product and prototype development and production conformity standards dependent on human intervention.,.

Different people different background,,,I m from engineering based..so work expectations is different,,, potential customer's post questions...you either know solutions or don't.,, not in between...and silence is not a solution.,like lucifal with Mazda logo from Mazda SG besi...Best part no one answers on your behalf..

Cheers, chill and I agree on the 10-20% of sales advisor.

Thanks for the clarification and apology accepted. But i hope that before you want make a pressing comment, would be a good idea to at least check out the posting history. Although the internet is a free space, some unwritten courtesies are much appreciated.

Anyway, have you decided which car are you getting?

Haha. Don't think I dare to speed if carrying 4 adults. Thanks for the comparison. Think I am leaning more towards the M3

Despite me being the owner of a mazda and quite a fan of it, based on your potential budget, I would suggest that you also take a look at the upcoming new Hyundai Elantra or the just announced Kia Optima GT. Don't close off options unless you're dead set on it. thumbsup.gif

Actually not to defend the sales advisors, but it's kind of hard for them to openly acknowledge flaws of their products in a public forum. They may be more open when approached in person.

User feedback is usually more reliable.

ok, maybe company terms and conditions restrict them, this I understand.
but SA did told me they know what are the common problems for existing model and they have all the spare parts stock ready but didn't mention about permanent solution.

Unfortunately Labuan doesn't have a KIA or Hyundai showroom Otherwise I would keep my options open. It would be quite. A hassle just to go Kota Kinabalu to have a look. And I have a feeling the same waiting list will be quite long for the KIA laugh.gif

On second look I still prefer Mazda punya interiors. Looks more modern and techy and classier hhaha

Korean brands are "cold" in our market, the waiting list won't be too long. Very under rated brand as the ride refinement are usually better compared to japanese counterparts, the unreliability image is just an old myth now.

Agree.
Cheaper car range will be more towards perodua.
Middle car range more towards Japanese
Mid High price range towards Japanese
and Europe for the rest.

I guess this is more likely our market trend?

Korean kimchi do always come with special feature and well equip safety feature in the same price range group.

From the more recent releases, the pricing indicates they are changing their direction to more premium segment, slightly above japanese, around/slightly below Ford/Peugeot level.

But i'm excited for the possibility of launching the Kia Stinger here, will bring lots of attention to those who wants rear wheel drive, spacious interior, head turning design, relative reliability without the pricing premium of continental offerings. Will be the first of it's kind for the Asian side.

M3 GL Sedan White 16...number plates confirmation and etc...now only tinting...

Raytech, huper optik or maybe wanna try haverkamp...

btw, anyone tint their headlamps to prevent 'yellowing' effect...it happens to all cars..moreover I have to park this car outside the home... blush.gif

I got 2 dogs and I prefer the dogs to run free in the compound and car scratches would happen indefinitely...example chasing anything that moves..

What tint anyone use on their vehicles care to share?

It can take 10 years for your headlights to yellow. Even then it can be polished off good as new. Headlight tint can mar your headlights with glue which is very difficult to remove after a few years.

Not sure about other issues but for the lower arm bush, a new part was introduced in April. Hopefully this fixes the noise when going over bumps in wet weather. I have this installed but haven't been driving enough lately.
