If your dogs already have the habit of biting/scratching the cars, your new car will not be spared. But if the dogs don't have this habit, you're pratically fine. My neighbour in front of me has dogs and they drive mercedes, their car is pretty much in pristine condition till now.

For tinting, just look for those reputable brands (3M, vkool, llumar, raytech, etc), those unknown local brands are best to be avoided.

Yes, it is a redesigned part with new part number, they no longer produce those annoying sounds. I got mine changed the 2nd time with the new version not too long ago.

Now mine left with the other suspension knocking sound.....

Is it normal that the car will rev a bit by itself during cold start? Engine sound a but loud when I start the car in the morning.

Yes, all cars like that now. It is to heat up the exhaust treatment by letting the initial minute to burn more fuel.

Suspension knocking sound as in the thunk when you go over a tall round speed bump? Mine went away by itself.

The bush we shall wait and see since my initial noise only started 6 months after I got the car.

You can discipline your dog not to bite/scratch your car but you need to catch it in the act and immediately bring it to your car and give it a good scolding. If you scold it after finding a scratch it won't know what you are scolding it for.

I loved dogs...amazing creature...just associate the kid in me of have great fun running and chassing and only satisfaction is food of the table..almost care free world. These dogs intentionally wont finish the food to bait pigeons to come over or near to have a good chase...

As I grow up or age...care free is a luxury... so at times of unwinding...I prefer walking dogs to an empty field...and play toss as a great stress reliever.
