that's the lower arm issue?
every car has it or depend on the driver driving behavior?
*
Most likely everyone will encounter this issue. It's the part defect. However, there are members who claimed the noise are gone after parts replacement. It takes time to allow "them" to present to you..

Me, yes. Kluk kluk is from bump stopper, or absorber mounting (appear during first month of ownership). Problem resolved after bump stopper replacement. Ngek ngek only appears when rainy days (appears on 9th month of ownership), where the lower arm bushes joint got wet and when you go over speed bumps, it will creates ngek ngek noise due to the friction / movement.

I see, glad that it's not a problem that cannot be solve or service centre don't bother to solve like some SC for other brand out there.

I didn't have the kruk-kruk sound but I have the ngek-ngek sound when going over bumps when it rains. As it only happens when the road is wet I didn't bother to get it fixed.

Coming to 2 years. Only happens when the lower arms are wet AND when you go over speed traps. Small matter but Mazda owners make a big issue of it because there isn't much else to complain.

should be the wet rubber that generate the ngek ngek sound.
no big deal to me also, maybe some grease can solve it.

I think it is difficult for SA to arrange unless due to luck he has another customer who wants to swap. Then again SA may just make money from the deal. It is better for you to announce your intention in the Mazda Car Club. I reckon finding a GL owner who wants 18" rims won't be difficult and some may be willing to pay for it.

trade in is not suggested due to shop always chop the consumer. hahaha..

Like what Ginny88 suggest, maybe announce at the group, and see who is interested.

However, been asking tire shops about trading in.. But under what condition they will likely to take in? It's when you are going to purchase sport rim from them. laugh.gif

Trade in price can be ranging 500 - 1000 depending on your rims condition. But take note, endup you will still need to fork out RM 1.5k +- for new rims..

Before you keep spreading the battery cost at least RM 700, well, here are some info for you. Varta Q85 start-stop battery only cost RM 477 (inclusive of 6% GST @April), ATLAST Q85 also less than RM 500.. SC ofcoz more expensive, they're giving Delkor and well, SC's price, never is the cheap one.

Now there are alot options in the market, do some research and you'll always find it is still within the acceptable zone. Compares to conventional normal battery, now cost how much? 220? 280? And why the start stop battery is much more expensive? Battery is wear and tear part too, not all of us lasted for SLIGHTLY MORE THAN A YEAR, at least mine good for 1 yr and 5 months..  blush.gif

Thanks for the info. I remember SA telling me the iStop feature can be disabled, ya?

The i-stop can be disabled but you have to do it every time you start the car.

Overall lo.. our rubber dont get back much money. Coz it is in odd size, rarely got ppl looking for it. If new, may get higher trade in price.

Then you compare with other makers la.. see their safety spec, kinda shitty too.. Mazda 3 is well known with best safety features in Japs C-seg.

Even they give you the dual zone controller, do you stares at the controller and drive? It just give you the impression it is more grand, more classy.. ask yourself, do you go and adjust the aircond frequently? How much does the Mazda 3 cost at SG?

Ofcoz, it is good to have la.. damn nice the panel.. hahaha..

The best to compare is always compare against other available models in MALAYSIA, as we're in Malaysia. That's more Apple to Apple.

Yes, we would love to have Europe / Japan spec, but perhaps there's reasons why those specs are not available here.
