When you say slow rates... how slow is it? Are there any benchmarks for it?
I wanna know if mine is fake or real...  unsure.gif

Go to Memory Stick on XMB, press triangle and choose information. See MagicGate, if supported, that means yours is original. if unknown or not supported, your mspd is clone.

You guys said the transfer speed will slow
then when play game will lag too????
hhmm...bcs i got some friends using nonorginal 2GB high speed MSPD
they said no problem with it oh~~~
so want to ask u guys opinion~~
hehe
*
in-game speed doesnt affect. only when u putting something big from PC to mspd, the transfer rate is slower than original.

no, i mean if u playing using aiessooo, u need 333MHz to minimize the lag..

"excluding modded data backup game"

Hmmm, been a while since i checked the psp scene.
Updating to 3.52M33 now, at 51%..

Update: Done. Pretty fast actually, compared to the old DXAR creaton etc etc.

Guys, Can I ask with the new 3.52M33 that apparently support PSX games:

Do I still need to use alcohol120 to create iso and then popstation to created the eboot for my PSX game before I can play with my PSP?

What are the differences in terms of methods to play PSX game between 3.40OE and 3.52M33?

Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

iR Shell 3.61 Updated With A Maintenance Release
QUOTE
The bug fixes in this release include the autoboot plug-in problem which some some configurations experienced as well as the issue with nethostfs crashing when the PSP fails to connect to the server. In addition to this, there are a few other fixes that were implemented:

    * Fixed screen corruption while changing CPU speed in PS1 games.
    * Retained the overclock speed after exiting game/app while nethostfs is active.
    * Fixed adhoc PC nethostfs connection problem. You no longer need to mess with the wlan switch.
    * The MP3 will now resume at the exact position when switching firmware versions (1.5 iR Shell to 3.x iR Shell, or vice versa).

here are the changes
QUOTE
Custom firmware 3.52 M33 changes:

    * Now uses 3.52
    * M33 NO-UMD: fixed problem with Simple 2500 Series Portable, The IQ Cube
    * Fix a bug which made Go!Cam, GPS and sceKernelLoadExecVSH* not work in game mode.
    * PSN downloaded PSX games support wasn't working in 3.51 M33 (didn't work in latest OE's either). Now it is working again. If an original PSN game still doesn't work, we recommend to delete files KEYS.BIN if exists, and copy the game again from ps3 to psp.

*3.40 OE-A

Yup, you can go to V3.52 M33 straight. As usual, you'll need the official V1.50 & V3.52 update EBOOTs.
