QUOTE(snipersnake @ Jul 31 2007, 05:29 PM) sure, and losing trust to game developers like Square Enix, Capcom to name a few. They even made their games not exclusively for Sony only but made available to other consoles as well. Right now many of them are leaping over the bridge if not in between. Besides Sony has actively working on copyright protection e.g. UMD, Blue-Ray, infamous rootkit CD etc so they are not going to do something silly to backdoor boost their hardware sales. Only their business rivals might possibly doing things like that. PSP games are lacking nowdays, we all know that. The game developers probably are waiting for the new PSP2 to surface in the market first. This post has been edited by strace: Jul 31 2007, 07:52 PM |

I dont think there is any mode in 3.51 . only enable and disable umd right? It's very easy to update from V3.51 M33 to V3.52 M33.Erm, yours is V3.51 M33 (first revision)? I suggest you upgrade to at least V3.51 M33-7 (revision 7) and change to No-UMD Mode to either M33 driver or Sony NP9660. >>> 3.51 M33-7 >>> 3.52 M33 >>> 3.52 M33-2 (Important reminders: 1. To go from 3.51 M33 to 3.52 M33, you'll need a copy of the official 3.52 update EBOOT (any region's) and the official 1.50 update EBOOT (any region's). >>> Official V1.50 update EBOOT >>> Official V3.52 update EBOOT 2. Read the readme. Ask if you're not sure of anything. This post has been edited by DFlo: Aug 1 2007, 11:46 AM |

I do not know what version it currently it.. it only states 3.51 m33 No probs. I think you're at the first revision.(There are a few revisions for the V3.51 M33: V3.51 M33 V3.51 M33-3 V3.51 M33-4 V3.51 M33-5 V3.51 M33-6 V3.51 M33-7 Two revisions to date for V3.52 M33: V3.52 M33 V3.52 M33-2) Anyway, I'd suggest you to go straight to V3.52 M33, rather than to V3.51 M33-7. After you're at V3.52 M33, go to V3.52 M33-2 (remember: you can't go straight to V3.52 M33-2 from V3.51 M33 without going to V3.52 M33 first. The steps are sequential.). Good luck. Hi Guys, I have installed this 3.52 M33 into my 1GB memory stick.
So want to know if I want to use another memory stick, do I need to repeat the step to install 3.52 M33 or just simply copy the folders into the memory stick? Last question, what is the key to overclock speed? I do not see any overclock instruction in the readme file. |
