The game ID is different in cwcheat (SLUS_01296) vs SLUS_01251 (the ID is for Disc 1, but I'm on Disc 3). (You need to make the Game IDs the same for savegames + multiple disc games to work correct ? ). So basically, if i edit cwcheatpops.db and put in all the FF IX codes, i can't bring up the cwcheat menu. Changing the game ID doesn't work too. What to do ar ?

If i can load the cwcheat menu, no cheats appear in the select cheats menu If i change the game id in cwcheatpops.db to match the chwcheat id, can't load the cwcheat menu. Or perhaps, better yet, anyody mind to share a working ff ix cwcheatpops.db here ?

- ,. - Elite 4,603 posts Joined: Jan 2003 From: PJ	Fulat: There should be 2 .pbp files in the recovery folder 1. The eboot.pbp - that's the actual flasher from Dark Alex 2. The 1.5 eboot - renamed as update.pbp (if i remember correctly)

Just convert yous PS1 CDs using the popstation utility (or the many graphical interfaces available), and put the converted eboots in the PSP/GAME folder. It will then show up under the GAME/Memory Stick menu in the XMB. All this and more can be found in the 3.10 OE-A' readme.

- ,. - Elite 4,603 posts Joined: Jan 2003 From: PJ	To cheatmaster users: I've copied the .prx to seplugins, edited the pops.txt, enabled the plug-in in the recovery module (along with plain modules), and copied he cheatmaster folder to the root of the mem stick, buttttt, no menu pops out when i press the Note button. Anything i'm doing wrong ?

Though below is not the same situation as yours, but it does deal with corrupt 1.50 files, you might want to give this a try: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Here's the How To Unbrick your semi brick PSP when upgrading from 3.02OE-A/B to 3.03OE-A. This means that you still can access your recovery menu but it fails to run the EBOOT.PBP file from the the /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY folder. This is because the 1.50 systemctrl.prx file has corrupted inside flash0:/kd folder (nand flash) due to memory card corruption (while copying files) or by accidently off the PSP (kind of a stupid thing to do...lol). All you need is to get a copy of 1.50 systemctrl.prx file from a friend/google. If you choose to get it from a friend just use PSPFiler (latest version is 2.4) to copy it from flash0:/kd folder into your mem card. Switch on your PSP and boot into the Recovery Mode (by pressing the R button while switching on your PSP). Select Toggle USB. Make/Create a folder called REFLASH at the root of your mem stick and copy over the 1.50 systemctrl.prx file into the folder. Now copy from Dark Alex's 2.71SE/3.02OE package the "flasher for recovery/RECOVERY" folder into your mem stick /PSP/GAME. Means the final folder of your mem stick will be /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY. Make sure you have all 4 files inside this folder (decryptprx.prx, EBOOT.PBP, extprxs.pbp, libpsardumper.prx) Rename 1.50 EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP and copy it into /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY folder. Now at the Recovery Mode main menu, choose Advance -> reflash systemctrl.prx (1.50). It will copy the systemctrl.prx into flash0:/kd folder of your nand chip. Go back to the main recovery menu and choose run EBOOT from /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY option. It will downgrade back to 1.50 firmware. If everything goes well, you've revived back you semi brick PSP. Good luck. Hope this helps.

First of all, you need to downgrade to 1.5 first, seeing as you're running the official SONY 2.71 firmware. After you've downgraded to 1.5, come back here if you still don't understand. Be careful, or you could brick/permanently spoil your beloved PSP.

Sure, it's only custom firmware. We don't talk about running pirated games here. If you're read and understood the procedures and risks (make sure you know about the TA-082 and TA-086 motherboard issues before proceeding, and obtain the appropriate downgrader), then good luck in dowgrading to 1.5. After that you can procede with flashing your psp to the latest custom firmware. It's a little tricky, and require a little patience, but once you've got it the first time, the rest will come easy.
