Yes, native.
Interface is PPP.

Others no need change but if you want to use Google DNS, then disable Connect to DNS Server automatically, input them in IPv6 DNS server 1 and server 2.

Just checked my router's temperature is 76°c with light usage now. blush.gif

No wonder I faced disconnection earlier with Channel 6, just checked my site survey and more than half of the shown connections in my area are with Channel 6 and none with Channel 11 which I was using previously for years and am using now. laugh.gif

I didn't notice with the WiFi Analyzer earlier. tongue.gif

The router scan more reliable. Thats the source point for your network ma.

It was stock clearance so i doubt got restock.

No obvious vlan options. Guest networks available which isolates subnets.

Bandwidth limiting available but haven;t test.

I was referring to xwrt-vortex when I mention it can be done but require use of custom script. Not stock rom, that cannot do much.

Yeah for me i just key in the unifi id and password
For the IPTV by default its LAN 4
I did not make any changes to the VOIP so i can't help you.

To get an overview you can check via the administration tab
The column on the left basically allows you to go through the options.
Not really that complicated gui smile.gif

Better to do factory reset to be safe, dunno what's left on your NVRAM.

'Multi SSID' don't have, they call it 'guest network', can have up to 3 additional each for 2.4/5GHz.

VLAN really don't see it anywhere, if you want to play with that go for Tomato.

Guys,

Appreciate some help here. I managed to get this router at the very attractive price, thanks to you guys over here. I managed to successfully flash the router to ASUS-XWRT firmware, but somehow i couldn't get it to connect to unifi.

I'm very sure my unifi password is correct, as i just installed new unifi 30mpbs, and i've snapped a picture of the password given by the installer. When I plug into TM's default router, it will connect in less than 15 seconds or so. But when i plugged into WS880, it wont connect.

I've key in correct user ID and password for sure. After that when detecting connection type, it always say time off.
I can see the WLAN and WPS light on WS880, with WLAN blinking (indicating wireless user connected) and WPS light permanent on. I cannot see the INTERNET light. I've done a soft and hard reset, but still couldn't connect to unifi.

Any ideas? Could be the new firmware, somehow i miss the steps or the firmware is corrupted? Can i reflash it again using the same method?

Same way you flashed to Vortex, but no need the CFE as you have already done that. I think Vortex management page also gives you an option to flash.

If you want to confirm your unifi password is correct, go re-setup TM default router using that password. Most likely password problem. Or easier way, call 100, give them your details, and they'll give you the right password. It may be that you thought 0 is o or something.

Alternatively it could be your router defective. Haven't heard of such a case in this thread yet though. Try the password first.

Hi, Thanks for your prompt reply. Already did as per your suggestion, reset the router password, and re-key in again. TM router is able to connect to unifi.

any other suggestions? hmmm..

The special requirement has to be selected as that will tell the router to do the necessary VLAN tagging for UniFi.
