I don't have any JFFS errors flagged, but is my rather low JFFS usage of 2.34 MB out of 94.75 MB OK?

Try connecting an external HDD into your router, activate it in the SAMBA option, transfer some files then disconnect it
After disconnecting the HDD, try rebooting the router

Just want to see if other users is also affected by this
Currently there's me & CoffeeDude who had this issue

When you connect the external HDD, is it the same error or different error? The JFFS2 are used for
1. OpenVPN certs
2. custom scripts
3. syslog backup, which is done by the firmware during shutdown & restored during boot up

Any read attempts will blocks with ECC errors will output the error message to the syslog. You can test this by running this command "cat /dev/mtdblock4 > /dev/null". If you got error then it is due to the JFFS2. This has nothing to do with external HDD what so ever.

I'm noob to networking.

What is JFFS?

Where to type in this command "cat /dev/mtdblock4 > /dev/null"?

Yes, easy. smile.gif
My friend has helped to flash mine and will give it back to me today. At first glance, I don't think it is difficult. Out from the box, it is already UniFi friendly configuration.

JFFS2 is filesystem for flash storage. In this case the firmware allocate the unused flash storage for JFFS2 filesystem so that it can be used for storing additional configurations instead of relying solely on the nvram, which is also stored in the flash but limited to 64KB. But mind you, don't use it for frequent writes due to limited write cycles.

You have to enable ssh or telnet on the router, the login to router using that and run that command. That command is to test if any of block in JFFS2 had that error.

For me samba sharing it's just plug and play. After enabling it at USB application, it's appear directly on my network. DownloadMaster and Apple time machine backup also works flawlessly

I just did what you ask me to, and mine was perfect, didn't have to refresh the screen at all

PS: I'm using Maxthon

Ok just made another discovery regarding this issue.

Everything is fine if the device/PC is connected to the router via wired LAN. Problem only happens via WiFi.

Is yours connected via wired LAN?

Lelong ads also taken down. I guess someone trying to profit from Sri Computer sales but since sold out, taken down already.
