I can't even seem to turn off the INTERNET wording, others are OK. hmm.gif

How do I turn on IPv6 by the way? I chose "native" but it is still not.

How about the Huawei logo? You managed to turn it off as well?

1. On first initialization, AsusWRT-Merlin will format the free space in the nand as jffs2. This is why the first initialization take so long.
2. What happen here is you got impatient & power cycle the router, causing jffs partition half erased. The firmware will not try to reformat it again unless u erase it first.
3. you will have to erase it with command "mtd-erase2 brcmnand" via ssh or telnet. Then select option in system configuration to format jffs on the next boot.
Thank you for your help bro
Did everything that you told me to & now not seeing the error anymore

Hopefully won't be seeing those error at all

Thanks again notworthy.gif

1. Go to Administration > System
2. Under Persistent JFFS2 partition tick Yes on Format JFFS partition at next boot
3. Under Miscellaneous tick Yes on Enable Telnet
4. Click Apply
5. Download PuTTY. Choose putty.exe & ignore the rest
6. Follow my PuTTY configuration as per the screenshot below

7. Type in your router login username then press Enter
8. Type in your router login password then press Enter (you won't see the password that you typed)

The only discernible difference would be the wifi signal strength because the AC68U uses external antennas.

If the WS880 is only slightly weaker, I would ditch the AC68U and keep the WS880. smile.gif

Flash it to stock China firmware. You will lose the unifi preset, but you still can set the vlan manually and also the dns server.

Actually, it's more than that, but for RM199, the WS880 is totally worth it

RAM:
RT-AC68U - 256MB
WS880 - 128MB

Antenna:
RT-AC68U - Upgradable external antennas
WS880 - Non-upgradeable internal antennas

USB Port:
RT-AC68U - 2 Ports (1xUSB 2.0 + 1xUSB 3.0)
WS880 - 1 Port (1xUSB 3.0)

Wireless Speed:
RT-AC68U - Up to 1900Mb/s
WS880 - Up to 1750Mb/s

Would you be able to discern the differences during normal home use between RAM size and wireless speed? laugh.gif
