Since 380.58 is the latest from xwrt-vortex, anybody tried using latest builds by asuswrt-merlin by flashing the firmware meant for AC-68U? Will it work? hmm.gif
I encourage you to try first
Then let us know the result laugh.gif

if no more stock, then if RMA, how?
Since when does RMA require stocks? sweat.gif
When you send it to the shop for RMA, the shop will either send it back to the distributor or directly to the manufacturer for RMA process

I will just leave it be.

When I switched on the air-con, the CPU temperature drops to 72C, which is acceptable.

So far, a 82C temp did not adversely affect the router's performance or stability at all.

i accidentally flashed latest r7000 380.59 files from asuswrt. all working fine except internet led. but i can't downgrade or access cfe server anymore.
Found something, not sure if they will help but at least it's worth a try

Maybe you could try entering the Emergency Upgrade Page by setting static IP to your PC first. Then flash the Stock CFE
If not, just try & flash to the stock russian firmware within the firmware upgrade page

And even if you bricked your router trying, you could just RMA it

Stock CFE:
https://mega.nz/#!cIYjDTaC

Stock Russian Firmware:
https://mega.nz/#!pB4z3KCY

PS:
1. Ignore the Russian language, what's important is to get official firmware back into the router
2. Try these at your own risk
