Khalid is doing a speedtest comparison between two different routers for the same Unifi  account and obtained different results.

Is that so hard to understand? smile.gif

I understand and looking for more detail...

Scenario 1 - (date just a make up)

before 1/8 Use Asus - usually download 3.3MBps

5/8 bought huawei, change a router
6/8 find out the speed now < 3Mbps, asking in the forum

Scenario 2

same as 1 except change back to Asus, speed back to 3.3Mbps.
Change to huawei speed decrease again.

Actually, when I said nonsense, I was referring to what the technician told you
There must be a fault somewhere

By the way, are you on FTTH or VDSL?

FTTH - Your BTU is connected to the Fibre cable
VDSL - Your BTU is connected to the RJ11 phone line

That means your area also capped already. Mine capped since months ago. Many too face the same problem. My friend still gets 32Mbps on her stock silver router, she is in Cheras. smile.gif

Hmm.. Kalau VDSL normal lah because copper will deteriorate after a few years, speed pun akan turun
But if on FTTH pun macam tu, maybe it's true what fruitie said that TM is gradually limiting all UniFi 30Mb/s users by areas to a maximum of 30Mb/s dry.gif

This is what I trying to said a weeks back. It's TM setting. @fruitie raised this issue at unifi thread before.

We can pressure TM but I don't know how to proof because they will use 80% excuse.

30mbps is equal to 31457280 not 30000000.

if they put 30,000,000 bps in their system we will get max 28.6Mbps in speedtest.
