today hubs tried to enter KLIA premium lounge using WMc, got rejected. Anyone encountered the same? They told him they dont accept local cc anymore @@ also need business class tickets and above.

They ask him to go Fight Club Lounge instead. Just 2 months back he was able to gain entry to PPL KLIA.

PPL KLIA is closed for renovation last reported by forummers here. Now will need to go to Flight Club.

Sounds to me PPL KLIA is like Golden Lounge now. laugh.gif

So for those who earn between 100k and 120k you guys can try to apply WMC with condition to appeal from their management. High chances will be approved..

Called AmBank just now and surprisingly my cards will be delivered to KL Sentral branch. biggrin.gif The place which I first collected my cards.

Most likely I will get within these few days.

Cannot recall who is the customer service name (it's a lady btw). But u just ask the person to appeal from the person's manager. That's what I did.

with the new unlimited access, can i swipe the card twice in a day? one in penang airport and once in klia2?

Have not received my card despite it being almost 3 weeks since my card approval. At this rate I wouldn't be able to enjoy the 10% cashback promotion. Customer service's hands are tied as all they can do is expedite my request to the relevant dept.

I feel that Ambank is artificially delaying card delivery to avoid new subscribers from using the promo. Any ideas who I can complain to? Would this be under the purview of BNM?

Have you received SMS that it is being sent out already?
My experience with them is quite good, once it is approved then within a week I got my card.

If you do not have any evidence or if they are not violating anything, on what ground do you want to complain?

Suddenly received 2 cards today via normal post. Man, not even registered post. AMBANK need to buck up. Same card, same number, just added pin and pay. An extra logo that look like the Visa Pay Wave.

Actually most banks use normal post for PIN & Pay cards, not only AmBank. smile.gif

Yes, got the SMS saying card approved, and that the card will be sent within 1 week. (Which turned out to be BS)

I also got an SMS asking me to activate my card (trolling me?).

You are right, just my frustration getting the better of me. If anything, they're guilty of shitty service.

Ultimately, I'm just looking for an avenue to get this resolved, and was wondering whether BNM is the right channel to go to.
