on the 8 digits promotion, out of all my successful swipes, only 1 received an sms saying that '8 digit has been spotted on your recent purchase and continue to swipe more bla bla bla'.

Is this sent out randomly just as marketing tool or it means only that swipe gets the CB?

I never received anything at all. I will be gutted if I get no CB at all. Im using it primarily lately.

How do i cancel my Ambank True cards ?

Do i need to go over the counter ?

Just received a call from ambank that my world mastercard application was rejected. Apparently they just increase their minimum annual income to 120k since July16.

Guys, is there any way to appeal for world mastercard? Or should I just accept their visa signature as propose by them?

If it is credit card, just call and cancel. I have never walked in to any banks before to cancel of my any cards. Just call and cancel will do.

Yes, it is really complimentary if you could spend RM30k with this credit card from the date of successful enrollment overr a period of one (1) year. Additionally, take note that there'll be no loophole to avoid the membership fee of RM599 as per stated on their #3 and #5 in their T&C

#3. In the event the Cardmember does not meet the aforementioned requirement, the Cardmember hereby
agrees and expressly consents for the Bank to charge a membership fee of RM599 to the Cardmember’s Card account.
#5. In the event of the cancellation/termination of the Card or the Hilton membership card before the minimum
spending requirement of RM 30,000 is met, the Cardmember hereby agrees for the Bank to charge a membership
fee of RM599 into the Cardmember’s Card account immediately succeeding the cancellation/termination

May i know, why are you interested with MBF card?

So in conclusion, apply for the membership only if you are very sure you can meet RM 30k per annum.

Very smart for them to come out with this T&C.


Anyway, just now received SMS from AmBank that my PIN & Pay card is issued. Gotta call to check out the delivery address. Anybody else received the SMS?

Received an email from SPG that I'm upgraded to gold status. Paid my previous stay using wmc.

But in case we purchase Hilton member straight away from Hilton which cost around rm799 if not mistaken,we will be given one night free hotel room voucher and few night 50% discount accommodation voucher.why this member given by an bank are not entitle for those benefit?
