not really. in my experience they either follow the "used" timezone/ in this case gmt +8 OR they use GMT time.

I kena once I cant recall what bank, I did the transaction just after midnite, but was recorded as the previous day date. So when i called I ask the CS to confirm the transaction time, and really is on GMT. On their system it was like 4pm something.

Actually it should be 1pm on Saturday. But to be absolutely safe, it is advisable to wait till after 2pm on Saturday.

+1, their system really not that good as others local bank.

Called CS today. They said that 10% promo cashback still hasn't been paid out.

However, when they checked MY account, they also said that I haven't registered by SMS. I was so mad, because I registered TWICE... 3 Jan and 15 Mar, and kept both SMSes as proof.

I frankly think they have problems with the campaign, hence unable to pay out until now. Its already more than 8 weeks, whereas their TNC says 4 - 6 weeks, and PBB payout is usually very fast. Quite disastrous!

I suggest you call to check whether your registration has been captured. If not, you can send your SMS screenshots via e-mail and complain / appeal.

Promo for VS?

Its a WMC promo, but unclear whether it clashes with the 5x / 8x swipes.

The question was whether you can register WMC to get promo 10% and VS to get the promo 5x / 8x. Not very clear for people who hold both cards.

Hi all... can confirm if shopee is considered online payment? I think when I pay via credit card at shopee... i don't recall I need to enter the tac number... it just went through.... i cannot really remember so wanna check ....

Shopee for me all this while has been online eligible for 6% standard and also promo cashback.

Have ALWAYS been asked for a TAC though, even though the cards are registered.

So, this is why Public Bank has the lowest cost per income ratio (~ 30%) among the banks in Malaysia, with the the cost per income ratio for other banks ranging from 40% to 60%. It is good for the owners of this stingy bank and its shareholders, but causes a lot of inconvenience and headache to its customers. I will not be at all surprised, if some of the Public Bank staffs are using computers older than Windows XP computers.

Still, Public Bank Visa Signature Card is one of the best credit cards. Too bad, I am not qualified for it.

yeah you forget that public bank is chinaman company, when they switched to PIN for their credit cards, they still ask you to walk-in whereas other banks can be done online

I'm new to Shopee but seems like you need to divulge your personal info (account and property owner) to the merchant. Any idea if it's safe?

Doesn't the TNC say that transactions that qualify for cash rebate is not counted as part of the 8x. Payonline would qualify for online cash rebate

I'm not active in this thread because I haven't applied for this card. Nevertheless, I think this thread has a mixture of VS and Quantum cards discussion now, this is another point to be taken as well for new version. Probably just rename this under PBB thread? Anyway, I will let you to decide.
