Hi... can elaborate a bit on what you mean by spending behavior? Thanks!
QUOTE(laith @ Sep 16 2016, 02:05 PM) I am a Pbb VS holder for 2 years without late payments, but due to my spending behavior i was rejected on Pbb Islamic Platinum CC, 3 times. Besodes that, it might be due to exceed DSR as well. I get the same fate from various banks including Citi, CIMB, Ambank. Strange thing is that AEON & Maybank keep on approve all my CC application. |

Ok... sometimes different banks maybe got different risk appetite on approving credit limits...
QUOTE(laith @ Sep 21 2016, 09:27 AM) I spend more than 1K per month, principal and sub respectively. Plus two 0% Balance Transfer transaction per year. Debt Service Ratio https://www.imoney.my/articles/home-loan-mistakes According to my previous records, they realized that my monthly spending on Credit Cards out of sudden exceed 3X of my paycheck, and sometimes up to 5X. However i have never missed out the repayment. CCRIS is clean as well. Perhaps my mortgage loans that kill me from getting new cards. PS: Somehow AEON just approved 2 new credit cards for me days ago. Strange. |

Hi all... for the typical Cashback campaign or new card campaign ... usually utilities or government payment not considered .... so I think you guys mentioned before posonline not considered...
For utilities... TNB and Telekom is considered as utilities but what about Astro? Thanks ! |

I think no... the online account must be under your mom's name/account... why not ask your mom go apply the online account for one time pain then you can use the account after that to monitor....
QUOTE(ivzh @ Nov 29 2016, 08:37 PM) I had applied a supplementary card for my mother (awaiting collection), She does have public bank account but doesn't want to have PBe online account Is it possible to link the supplementary card under my PBe account so that i can monitor the transaction and CB from my own PBe account? i tried to "add card" - this error message pop up - You do not have the access rights to this function. For activation, please visit the nearest PBB branch. Thank you. |

Hi...
A bit confused here...you mentioned got BT 22nd November but later mentioned another BT 3 Nov? How this works ah? QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Dec 5 2016, 07:56 PM) Random note. I made a massive rookie mistake on my PBB VS balance transfer and just wanted to highlight my error so that no one else gets into same problem. My latest statement of 2 December showed a finance charge of RM130. I was so horrified because this was the second time I've ever seen a finance charge in my 12 years of using CC (the first was with Aeon, and due to late payment through Pos Online). I checked back my payments and saw that my statement balance was 9800, due on 22 Nov. On 14 Nov I had a MBB balance transfer to settle 9600, and then some WMC cashback of 80 on 16 Nov. I also paid RM50 on 16 Nov. So total payments before statement date was 9730. My shortfall was only 70 bucks, but finance charge 130!!! After calling CS, I found out it's because my next round of BT instalments (9000+) were posted one day after my Nov statement date - on 3 Nov. Because I didn't pay the full Nov statement balance, the finance charge was on the new BT instalments (equal to almost one month full interest). If I had paid in full, I would have no finance charge and just need to pay the BT instalments in statement dated 2 Dec (due 22 Dec). My error of 70 cost me 130!!! Anyway, since it was my first finance charge for all my PBB cards for many years, CS advised me to pay off the total Dec statement balance ASAP and they will request a waiver for me. Fingers crossed. I feel quite stupid for making such a simple and costly mistake. |
