Think 80 per swipe was "Every Swipe Counts" in Oct to Dec 2015. Swipe 3 / 5 / 8 times for 20 / 50 / 100. I remember being super annoyed because I bought gift cards from AEON big (RM20 x 4) x 8, which meant carrying 32 cards around and looking like a crazy woman at the counter. Was very hard to get through RM100 per week.

I preferr multiples of 50 or 100 then can achieve through reloading TNG or buying larger denomination vouchers.

Which means if trx in CB categories, then 12.5%+6%, better than prev campaign.
Can't wait for the t&c.

I hope they won't exclude multiple transactions (like HSBC does). Then I'll be in trouble.

In this similar campaign in jun2016 , “Save More with PB Cash Back” Promotion, one of the t&c:

16. Split Qualified Retail Transactions are disallowed and shall be disqualified.

Now I am wondering how Paywave transactions (offline) will be captured by PBB's tracking system! Backdate (Monday) or time at posting (Tue/Wed)!

I believe split and multiple are 2 different things. Split is if you have the same invoice and break it into components (several part payments). Multiple is where you swipe one after the other, each with a different invoice. This is based on my experience and past clarification with CS.

If you read this compared with HSBC terms (off memory), HSBC specifically says disqualify split transactions AND multiple swipes at same merchant (typically more than 2 or 3). This implies that split and multiple are different things.

In all PBB past promos I have done multiple swipe strategy and always got cashback.

how does pbb know if it is split or multiple, if u swipe one after another using same terminal? but since u have tried so should be ok.

to be safe, just swipe variable amount lo.

previous save more promo, i varied the amount to like RM60, RM61, RM62, all to single merchant: Maxis or Astro or Unifi or TNB.

I Googled it, and I believe the way a split transaction is processed at the terminal is different from a multiple payment. Based on my cursory reading, the split payment function will reconcile to one sale, while multiple is self explanatory.

I'm not a tech person but there should be a way of tracking.

I bought vouchers at Aeon, Aeon Big, Isetan and Parkson to the exact denomination. And all qualified for cashback.

Also did multiple online transactions for exact same amount, like Starbucks card, 1U gift cards, amazon gift cards, unifi, digi, maxis etc.

For UOB Pay Online I manually did one transaction at a time (as opposed to paying multiple bills one shot) as I'm not sure how the multi bill payment is recorded (even though several TACs are required).

I will do the same this round and will update on results.
