QUOTE(kengyan @ Jul 14 2016, 01:13 PM) Dedicated CIMB Premier travel desk. Those who apply CC to feel superior to others are the bank's favourite sort of customer. For me I'd rather get the best benefit, even if the card is entry level.Just the above can make you feel superior than others. Not everyone like cash backs as it can't show them to be more superior than others. |

My supp (wife) tried to create based on instruction in post #2 but was not allowed. CS informed that Supp card cannot create standalone PBe account without CASA. I think responders above all are primary holder?

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 20 2016, 03:51 PM) You don't need CASA for the Supplementary Cardholder to get PBe online access. ]]]]]]]It's just most PB Customer Care are ignorant about creating for non-CASA CC cardholders. My experience was go to the Public Bank branch, get a temporary username/password (in sealed envelope), the PBB office will create a "dummy" account and link your PBB CC Supplementary card. Login using the temporary username/password and create your permanent username and password Thanks ronnie! Will go check at branch. QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Jul 20 2016, 08:37 PM) Appeal better. I did by email. |

QUOTE(laymank @ Jul 28 2016, 03:45 PM) one word of advice, those app that helps to remember your browser's field entries are good if there are some mundane repetitive data entries. Agree, which is why you should use an 'offline' or self-running app rather than anything which relies on a 3rd-party server.when it comes to credit card info, you would want to exercise diligence in safe guarding your card info for fraud prevention, after all it is our responsibilities in ensuring to whom those info are exposed to. No one knows what those apps done with your 'stored' information for sure. Regarding CC fraud, I think we're quite well protected here in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(kart @ Aug 16 2016, 11:17 PM) What is the lowest credit limit for Public Bank Visa Signature card? Make sure you done the proper calculation, whether RM50 a month is worth tying up your 20k ringgit. Your pledge FD is 'losing out' in terms of interest compared to promo FD or maybe other types of investment.I would like to pledge a fixed deposit to get this card. If you calculate at 1% difference (that's the minimum, comparing basic FD with promo) 20k ringgit means you 'lose' 200 ringgit a year. If your cashback is more than that then okay, but then maybe other cards (like VOX/CIMB CR for online, Maybank Ikhwan for groceries) make more sense. |

QUOTE(alchmiya @ Aug 24 2016, 10:34 AM) QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Aug 24 2016, 11:57 AM) ytan053's advice is similar to my experience. My husband just created a savings account with PBB on Monday. He deposited RM250, then withdrew RM230 immediately to maintain the RM20 minimum amount. He also did not opt for an ATM card, so no annual fees. Actually my supp card holder went to branch and was able to get PBe account without having savings account.Once that was done, he could create an online account. It was a very easy process. My other supplementary card holders didn't want to go through the hassle of this, so they just rely on hardcopy statement. However, if you want to check your transactions, you can easily call CS and they will happily go through all your transactions with you on the phone. |

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Sep 9 2016, 11:14 AM) Could not find in Public Bank wesbite as to what is the no. of supp card that we can apply under 1 principal. Saw someone mentioned in Wise thread that it's 6. How to confirm this? I asked before, CS told me no limit, only limit is based on the credit limit you have. If you have 100k credit limit, you apply for one supp with 50k another one with 40k then that's it =). |
