What is ur result of complaint?

10am onwards should be ok.... but not 100% guaranteed.... in regards to paying by USD using Paypal...

The result of my complaint... cannot change... even as the acknowledge as transaction at 6.30am... reason: unpredictable foreign currency...

i thought shopee is in MYR?

San Francisco where CYBERSOURCE is based will only turn 6/2/17 at 4pm today Mysian time.

I did an RM10 Shopee transaction at 8.30am for testing purposes. After reading these posts, I called CS and they said its currently unposted, but the date on the system is 6 Feb. I then asked if it possible that the system will backdate it to 5 Feb upon posting...CS said no. Will just have to see if this is true.

As a customer using epay portal to buy Digi, Maxis reload and some gaming credits etc, I think it is consider online transactions right?

I didn't see the list in 1st page eligibility got mentioned about Epay portal, hence I am asking to double confirm

cuz no one tried buying there.

Should not be a problem with MYR... even with using paypal... in the early hours... let's see your (experience) report

On a related note... I just checked back my previous CIMB and PBB online statements, as I believe Zalora also uses Cybersource to process, and this is what occurred:

Transactions done at 3.12am (CIMB) and 3.45am (PBB) on 2 February show transaction date on 1 February!!!

Based on the above, to be cautious, it is a bad idea to transaction at 3am if you want to qualify for the CB.

Now, we have to wait and see what is the "cut off time" for it to be posted on the correct day. My transaction today was 8.30am, so I will report back on what transaction date is actually posted.

If other forummers are transacting using Cybersource (e.g. Shopee and Zalora), please report your actual transaction date (in Malaysian time) and the posted transaction date (based on your statement). Through trial and error we may be able to determine what is the safe "cut off time".

If u have already done these, u can always check with d CS, if OK then this will be another option to get CB.

With CIMB.... it's California's time... which is 3pm (non-DST)...4pm with DST.... with USD paypal

I did another Zalora transaction in MYR (using CIMB CC via Cybersource) at 3.40PM on 1 February. This was correctly recorded as 1 February in my CIMB statement.

I will make a Maxis payment at 4pm today.

ur maxis payment is via Maxis Pay? If yes, I never have issue on timing for payment made through MaxisPay.. Normally i pay early morning aropund 9am..

But previously was the payment gateway the same, ie Cybersource? The payment page looked diff.

which part different? after trigger payment, it directly load PBB's OTP page.

I didnt make any payment this month for MaxisPay... my last transaction was done on 9 Jan..

MGM's concern is that "someone mentioned maxispay transaction recorded as yesterday due to us-based CYBERSOURCE payment gateway?"

if u follow the discussion earlier, i already paid using maxispay this morning at 7am+. called PBB CS, verified the transaction captured as today's date 6-Feb, 7:11am.

now, MGM said "the payment page looked diff.", so my question was which part of the page is different as the payment automatically trigger PBB's OTP page. if you cc detail is stored in maxispay, there is no intermediate page for you to key-in.


update: i guess the page in question is the one below. this is assuming you are paying manually by entering cc detail.

Btw, my test transaction for Shopee today was to Digi postpaid using seller Kuching1. Got 1% rebate and super professional and fast. Good communication and payment done within half an hour.

Am testing other sellers too. One hasn't responded to me since Saturday... Which is worrying.
