do you mean during Oct 28th, we should see the Sep rebate posted at Oct 28-30, which will fall in next statement cycle already?
so Oct statement mostly will not have Sep rebate being offset in the Oct Statement balance but fall in Nov statement balance instead?

so this will feel like the rebate for current month credit in after 2 months.
*
Statement date: 28th October
Bill cycle: 29th September to 28th October
Rebate posted: 30th or 31st October

As fruitie mentioned, please pay outstanding in full as some forumers were being slapped with financial charges.

read this http://www.cimbbank.com.my/content/dam/cim...t-3July2015.pdf

the example is in there.

your earned Sep cashback will be credited on Sep 29 (usually). Since it's already past your Sep 28 statement, you dont actually get to "enjoy" the cashback.

then on Oct 28 statement, you would see Sep's earned cashback with Oct spending.

essentially, this month's cashback will reduce next month's bill.

Sep cashback not post at > 28th Oct?

After reading the revised mechanism by CIMB, I read it like below example.
The quota is not from actual Calendar month?

Statement Datestatement cyclerebate calculate from periodrebate posting date (from left side rebate period)
28th Oct29th Sep to 28th Oct29th Aug to 28th Sep~30th Sep +/-
28th Nov29th Oct to 28th Nov29th Sep to 28th Oct~30th Oct +/-

Yes.

Deleted the old card and updated the new entry in the Payment Method in the Uber app.

No difference really.

should be this...

statement datestatement cycle = rebate cyclerebate postingnext statement
28 Oct29 Sep - 28 Oct29 Oct28 Nov
28 Nov29 Oct - 28 Nov29 Nov28 Dec

in short, you will see the cashback 1 statement later.

No, I don't think so. It's still at stage two? No date shown in stage 3 onward. I think you will need to call CS to clarify. If based on my understanding, I don't think it's approved yet. hmm.gif Previously were there any tick next to Process and Approved?

Bro how long it took for your status to change to process n approve?

1. Statement date: 28th
2. Posted in the next statement (new ledger); if you have Clicks access, you can see it gets posted 2 to 3 days later.
3. Some claimed no; better pay outstanding in full
*
For no. 3, should be ok if "better pay statement balance in full", not necessary credit card outstanding balance?

same with other cc: 20 days after statement date.

you can find out from the Statement.

28 Jul statement = 17 Aug due date
28 Aug statement = 17 Sep due date
28 Sep statement = 18 Oct due date
28 Oct statement = 17 Nov due date
28 Nov statement = 18 Dec due date

i generally dont like due date that's crossing month, cuz i cant follow the exact due date. some months 1 day early, some 1 day later biggrin.gif

i prefer statement date early of the month, so that due date (+20 days) will fall within same month, so the date is always "fixed".

QUOTE(cybpsych @ May 20 2016, 11:10 AM)
no worries, you can refer CIMB Clicks or Statement.

Pay statement balance on/by payment due date (+20 days from statement date).

PosOnline should be no issue for CIMB CR.

received my CIMB CR together with CIMB Tesco card today.
Immediately call CS to activate CR and cancel Tesco card, it redirect to CIMB Card Centre and they offer me swipe RM200 to get RM30 rebate for the CIMB Tesco card.
They will immediately credit RM15 first, then I swipe any purchase for RM200 within 1 month, can get another RM15 in next 3 month (total RM30).
So I accepted the offer, will cancel it after the other RM15 received. biggrin.gif

I cannot check if the RM15 posted in the CIMB Tesco or not because unable to activate CIMB click right now since I have not set my own PIN for the card yet.

My History:
29th Aug - submit via cimb "Apply Online Now"
1st Sep - CIMB call for verification + request supporting doc, document sent in same day
5th Sep - approved and card sent out
9th Sep - received card.
