off topic:

Hi guys, if I am currently under hire purchase agreement with public bank with very good track record of servicing the loan, do I need to submit additional income proof to apply for a credit card ?

No, I don't think so. It's still at stage two? No date shown in stage 3 onward. I think you will need to call CS to clarify. If based on my understanding, I don't think it's approved yet. hmm.gif Previously were there any tick next to Process and Approved?

Bro how long it took for your status to change to process n approve?

first credit card, better if it's from the bank where ur salary is being credited. recommend to wait for 6 months after previous rejection to try again.

Why must six months? If 3? Do I need to submit my bank statement too?

generally accepted 6 months cooling off period. anything less will show ur 'desperation'. and yep, usually i will supply epf + 3 months pay slip. the more supporting documents, the better. but some may feel uncomfortable sharing those with the bank.
*
Any bank easier to get approval? I felt uncomfortable to share bank statement... epf n payslip ok... but if walk in to kiosk for instant approval type not bind by 6 months rule right?bsn easy?

hard to say. different banks have different algorithm. but they share a common info - CCRIS. you can try but if i'm not mistaken, it shows on ur CCRIS how many credit cards you tried to apply recently. and of course, having many failed attempts in a short period of time may appear fishy to the bank.
*
I tried checking CCRIS, just got historical check by Financial institution... no record on attempts to get loan or cc approved except for the same months ...mean they only can know how many have checked your CCRIS previously

Yea... but I can go BNM check CCRIS... also a check from FI? And also it might be Lon, unnecessarily cc...My auto loan payment very nice, PTPTN cleared recently ... so would like to try walk in to CIMB for instant approval upon next month epf masuk

if using paypal, not necessary better to pay in RM coz paypal's conversion rate might be worse compared to 2% forex charge
PTPTN cleared recently, meaning got missed payments before this?
this might contributed to not so nice CCRIS reading

What I meant is totally paid off... no more hutang... CCRIS no more PTPTN... OCBC criteria is what? I applied today...
