For those who bought the 2016 Civic, how much DP and monthly for you guys?
*
Very general question.. Some ppl buy cash, some give 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k and etc.. Monthly, some take 36 months, some take 60, some take 108.. So what you r looking for actually?

QUOTE(blurkia @ Jul 10 2016, 04:38 PM)
Guys, the accord has huge discounts.. I booked the civic tc White... But with the accord discount, the lowest variant is now same priced with the new civic. Which will be a better choice? What do u guys think?

Btw, I came from owning a jazz hybrid and city.
Driving mostly in town. Occasional highway during festive seasons (balik kampung). Seldom drive alone, normally with wife and my two year old. So there you go, hoping for some good advice. Thx!

I thought of doing this, but I think the leather installation is done after market. So, it better be a good job, or else I think just stay with fabric la haha
*
Yeah it's done after market. I'm used to leather seats in my current ride. Just wondering RM2.8k is reasonable or not. Plus leather is easier to maintain and children friendly.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 10 2016, 09:24 PM)
Not to mention the airbags warranty on the seat... might want to reconsider.
*
I never thought about the seat airbag warranty. Will ask my SA further regarding this.

Hi, am thinking exactly the same as you, tp get the 1.8 but want leather seats. Do update once ypuve spoken to yr SA. :-)

For those having 1.8, hows the fabric quality so far, does it get smudged easily, comfort, rtc? My pet peeve is its also fabric on high contact parts like door handle, and armrest doesnt sound like itll stay clean for long.

RPM at 110kmph is 1,800.

How is it possible for the RPM to drop to idle speed when you are in gear and the car is travelling at 110kmph even if you lift your foot off the gas?
*
but i heard that altis with CVT transmission will automatically drop to 1k rpm idle speed as soon as u lift off ur foot from the gas, to save fuel.

My friends 1 mth old HRV simply got stolen from his porch during the night.  Not auto gate. Imagine. .Park at his own home.
While the other 3 mths old Civic 9th Gen simply got stolen from just parking right outside the Gym.  Happens only less then 1 hour.
They finally got steering lock ...no issue till now.  Accordingly is due mainly of keyless entry issue.  So likewise. .no harm getting extra lock.

Many business establishment like KLIA and casinos use fake CCTV to scare off offenders. It works to some extend. Hence cheap and good

I dont think they will accept credit card as DP. They will lose 2% for the bank charges.
