This forum is really helpful! It has provided so much useful sharing from user experience before you make the right choice for a projector.

It seems to me the best choice right now is Epson TW700 if you're not going for the full HD which is almost double the price.

It would be nice if anyone could share the current market price for Epson TW700? Would be great too if there any shop that could provide the best offer and services.

There is no best projector lah. Just go for the one which you like on demo and fit your budget.

To say there is not enuff demos would only mean you missed the AV show

So where are all the new projectors... so many people said want to buy. Pleae give a quick review yah if you've bought one.

How have you guys been? For me? Well, my Epson TW700 is kicking but not because I watch tonnes of movies but my uncle who came down for few weeks... helped me to pumped up my lamp hours from 70+ to 300+ by watch History Channel. Kakakaka...
But still OK la.

Anyway... I've added screenshots in "My Own Cinema in my Living Room"

This shot is taken from my DVE DVD. Its a bit difficult to go right to which calibration image from this DVD as you need to go through the whole DVD.

I guess u will get some dimming after long hours like mine but didn't affect me. Still enjoyin it though.

Kakaka... if you buy 10k projector... spend aound 1-2k la. 10-20% of the projector is reasonable. But like what dirtrun says, keep away from roll up as it will be wavy later on.

Step 1
Press On Button

Step 2
Press HDMI

Step 3
Sit down and watch movie

Step 4
Press S Video

Step 4
Watch Astro

Step 5
Press Off Button

Step 6
Sleep

Back to the a related topic, my package from Amazon has arrivved... 4 days earlier than estomated... The DVD is really worth itlah, got many extras and features.... What's more after conversion plus shipping its cheaper than local... yay for me. Summore I got the HD DVD version. I will take screen shots over the weekend and post here.

I tink Bro Tim didnt do any adjustments at all la ... probably find de setting is spot on and since he like de images ... why change anything tat aint broke??? When I did mine wif Avia (wif de filters ... Does de dve come wif filters too???) it was already in de proper zone so I didnt alter anything either...

I also donno how to calibrate la. Anyway, my projector mounting is fixed. The free play only like few mm. So, the senget also never mind la. When you switch off all the light, you won't feel it. And Megan Foxx still sexy

DVE also comes with filter. Brue, Led, Gleen.
