Was pretty sure my phone says 2pm. When I check the job history, it says 1:59pm.

For security, better online 30 seconds after your phone clock turns 0, just in case, so you are qualified for full hour incentive.  Online in room with poor signal lol!

Someone mentioned Grab time is 50 seconds late...and i believe him/her. Better online 1 or 2 minutes later...i dont mind pro-rate for 58mins. Better than start work on the 59th minute and get 0 incentive
My opinion, part time ok la. Full time....very long hours and tiring. Plus, the money is not that alot alot.
I did a sample here below. Monday to Friday - everyday 11 hours with incentive.

Korang perasan kan, jarak nak Pickup rider grab skang makin jauh sampai ber kilometer..Sebelum ni tak sampai 1kilometer pun..

Kenapa jadi macam ni? Dan kejadian ni hanya berlaku pada waktu bukan Peak..

Sebab si A pada waktu bukan peak,hanya memilih job yang fare tinggi sahaja..Bawah Rm5 memang tak ambil..
Si B pula memang dah balik rumah atau melepak minum kopi..
Tinggal lah si C,si C ni lah yang tak puas hati sebab kena pick up jauh..

Itu lah puncanya ssbenarnya berlaku nya pickup jauh-jauh ni,bukannya sebab tiada driver..Kalau cek kat apps ramai,tapi banyak si A..si C masih sedikit..

Si C makin lama akan makin bertambah ramai,tapi ambil masa..

Grab memang perasan patern ni,cuma samaada Grab akan biarkannya atau perbaiki dengan tinggikan balik Fare atau naikkan insentif..

Si A = Hanya kejar Fare
Si B = Hanya kejar Insentive
Si C = Main belasah semua job

How about next year NO incentive for driver ! would u drive?

singapore already implemented boost (like Uber here) replacing insentif.
however do read my story above, if that is the case. no drivers will take any short trips. and slowly riders will not use grab as well.

This is definitely better than Uber.

Full time incentive driver I know will not go for the P block incentive during lunch hour. better go back home and rest more. (except Friday of course)
this week incentive 8pm block is HP and should do Saturday 10 hours straight 11pm till 9pm. is a good day to earn incentive in my opinion. maybe can take Sunday off.

Disiplin is the key. sleep early wake up early. follow the timing. the requirement is not hard to achieve. Here is a story taken from FB:

Base on Table for this week:



Calculate only 1 trip per block, driving at HP and above only:
Monday: 5AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Tuesday to Thursday: 6AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (9 hours per day)
Friday: 6AM-10AM. 11AM-9PM. (13 hours per day)
Saturday: 11AM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Sunday: 11AM-2PM. 4PM-9PM. (8 hours per day)

For weekday: Total earning = RM1635. Minus 20% is = RM1308. (Saturday, Sunday rest day.)
if add Saturday = +RM280. Minus 20% is = RM224.
if add Sunday = +RM220. Minus 20% is = RM176.

If work 7 days a week, RM1308 + RM224 + RM176 = RM1708.

p/s: In reality, the amount is surely more than what's being calculated above. Because most of the time, you will get more than 1 trip per block. so I guess full timer will hit RM2k per week.

Aiya... I'm the one who mentioned 50 seconds because last checked the Grab app pop-up notification on screen showed 0min when my phone clock about to turn 1min, but I don't check it regularly, so that's why I said better online 30 seconds later for security, as long as the time you start online still showing 0min in app, I think you'll get full hour incentive, I don't think Grab will prorate the difference in seconds...
