latest system really not good for grabbies ..... grabbies tend to aim incentive else what for doing short trip ????  now there is no minimum fare, last time still got minimum MYR 7.

Generally, grabbies will now be come aggressive i.e. drive fast to reach the pick up points, rush them to get in, and rush to destination.... and while stuck in jam... the pressure is pilling up... cause lost of time.

Have they actually test it them self before announce it ?
It would better if the system is reverse i.e. normal hours give higher incentive to encourage grabbies come online, then busy hour no incentive but charge higher fare due to high demand also to supplement grabbies for their time stuck in jam during this peak hours.

Then revert the minimum fare no matter how the short trip is, the rider can always use promotion code to get lower fare, now so many promotion...

Today work 9hours and 30 minutes on busy hour only.
Get payment of RM212. Incentive estimate will get RM152.
Total earn today RM364 within 10 hours . Havent include tips from customer.
The new incentive structure quite good for part time driver like me. Previously maximum only earn RM240 max for 12 hours per day.

The amount stated above haven't deduct 20% commission and petrol.

Today din't do quite well...
10 hours drive (morning 5 hours, evening 5 hours)
Trip payment + tips = RM205
Incentive= RM128
Total= RM333
Minus commission and petrol get around RM220

Today drive 6 hours Grab. 7am-10am and 5pm-8pm.
Payment receive RM140, incentive RM130. Total RM270.
After minus 20% comission and petrol still got RM180.
RM30 per hour not bad XD

Last week drive 3 days. Monday 7 hours, Thursday 6 hours, Friday 12 hours.
RM442 incentive after minus 20% XD
Total 45 jobs last week.
Sometimes Grab give me few ringgit additional money dunno why.

Total payment + incentive last week = RM488 + RM552.59 = Total RM1,040.59
After minus commission and petrol: RM670.
Minus car maintenance assume RM100 left RM570
RM570/ 25 hours = RM22.8 per hour after minus everything
RM1040.59 / 25 hours = RM41.61 before minus everything

Someone mentioned Grab time is 50 seconds late...and i believe him/her. Better online 1 or 2 minutes later...i dont mind pro-rate for 58mins. Better than start work on the 59th minute and get 0 incentive
My opinion, part time ok la. Full time....very long hours and tiring. Plus, the money is not that alot alot.
I did a sample here below. Monday to Friday - everyday 11 hours with incentive.

And you have to stress to maintain 90% acceptance rate, max 10% cancel rate, 50% from busy area and 4.4 stars rating.
If you missed the incentive....then...really 

singapore already implemented boost (like Uber here) replacing insentif.
however do read my story above, if that is the case. no drivers will take any short trips. and slowly riders will not use grab as well.

Base on Table for this week:



Calculate only 1 trip per block, driving at HP and above only:
Monday: 5AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Tuesday to Thursday: 6AM-10AM. 4PM-9PM. (9 hours per day)
Friday: 6AM-10AM. 11AM-9PM. (13 hours per day)
Saturday: 11AM-9PM. (10 hours per day)
Sunday: 11AM-2PM. 4PM-9PM. (8 hours per day)

For weekday: Total earning = RM1635. Minus 20% is = RM1308. (Saturday, Sunday rest day.)
if add Saturday = +RM280. Minus 20% is = RM224.
if add Sunday = +RM220. Minus 20% is = RM176.

If work 7 days a week, RM1308 + RM224 + RM176 = RM1708.

p/s: In reality, the amount is surely more than what's being calculated above. Because most of the time, you will get more than 1 trip per block. so I guess full timer will hit RM2k per week.

Platinum Driver word should be powerful.
