No cheaper zenfone go new series?

sometime i dont understand malaysia business practise, they already have samsun g launching phone first and have the pricing as benchmark. which about the same as everywhere in the world.

then xiaomi, who choose only to market the lowest spec of their flagship phone, then sony whose pricing strategy is plain wrong based on cpu. then come asus due to change in one number 820-821 decide that their will command a premium price.

the difference between direct import and buying from local retailers are warranty..and at the moment asus, xiaomi, huawei have yet to get the coverage and service to the level of samsung and apple.

well i am waiting for zte axon pricing in malaysia.

Huawei trumps it all with 1 to 1 exchange warranty IMO. There's also replacement for cracked screens.

We really should do a Maxis debacle and hashtag how Asus Malaysia is unfairly increase the price of the Zenfone 3.

any difference buying from taiwan? the snapdragon 821 6gb model is selling TWD 24,990 at taiwan, which is equivalent to RM3198.

Zenfone 3 deluxe in Taiwan TWD24990, equal to around r. 3198.. Asus selling it at 3299 in Malaysia, which is fair compare to the price at Taiwan..

And in my previous post, I was wondering the benefit buying directly from Taiwan, since the price is the same after convert.

Yes, is a fair price but not an attractive price. Consumer will not buy Asus device with this price tag as people trust Samsung more than Asus. People were hoping that if Asus can sell their flagship at a more competitive price, they willing to buy it and forgo the brand perception. Etc, ZTE Axon 7.

Anyways, ultimately, consumers have the power. If you think the ZF3 is not worth the asking RRP, look for alternatives or if your really must have the ZF3, buy 6 months later. Am sure the price will drop.

Yeah, I'll buy when there's a fire sale... Or at least a clearance sale... But it may take more than 6 months, though. Hopefully my phone will hold up.
But really, the only reasons I want to upgrade is to enjoy 4G (this phone is only 3G capable). Otherwise, I'm still plleased with it. I haven't even filled its 16gb memory.

Those who are not attracted by Asus pricing , just stay away for the time being

Well I am not too bother with their pricing and I had preorder the Ultra model at launch ( only 20 units available than and all sold) for RM 2599
I will do a comparison with my other Huawei P8 Max ( also a 6.8 incher)
