QUOTE(am_i_rulez @ May 31 2016, 12:55 PM) if zenfone 3 deluxe price is 2k it will be great win for all. with 6gb ram. choosing a good smartphone to buy nowadays is really a headache. Should be priced max at 1.5k Then can give even the mi5 and OP3 run for money 2k is a bit too expensive, perhaps a 64 gb or 128 gb storage will come with cheaper pricing 256gb for smartphone is excessive in my opinion, it's not a laptop. Don't need so much space.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Aug 7 2016, 12:06 AM) local dealers taking some fat profit Yep same here. No way going to pay RM2.5k for an Asus, no matter what chip you use. 2k to 2.2k max is still acceptable. More than that, might as well get a Samsung

The numbers will tell if asus got their pricing strategy right. For now there are more people who say they got on wrong rather than right.
USD479 at exchange rate of 4.3 plus 6% GST is only RM2183 but retailing for 2599.
This is pure malaysia pricing strategy that is over ambitious, greedy or what ever you call it.
At pure RRP * exchange rate and even add GST, the prices reflect an ASUS brand price range but 2599 to me is not Asus brand price range.

Just wondering which is better buy
ZenFone 3 Max vs ZenFone 2 Selfie vs ZenFone 3 Laser.
Chip wise, the ZenFone 2 Selfie has best chip but what about the camera.

Can see some S7 edge selling online for around RM2.3K to RM2.5K on places like Lazada, 11Street.
Which one is a better buy, the S7e or the ZF3 Deluxe with just 64 GB. Yes, the Asus comes with more RAM and Storage and slghtly bigger screen but Samsung comes with QHD, water proof and a better camera?

I was actually expecting you guys to say ZF3 since this is an Asus tread but suppose the truth hurts.
For same price, Samsung is a better buy

QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Aug 17 2016, 10:59 PM) Yeah, comments there generally mirror those made here : dissatisfied n disappointed The prices in India is really crazy compared to RRP during the international launch. Asus India is pricing the ZF3 squarely in same league as Apple and Samsung Flagship range

I prefer just phones with metal or aluminium back.
