QUOTE(youngkies @ Sep 14 2007, 05:48 AM) Erm, i dont really understand what u mean but with my bulk u just pay either 2000 or 2500 depending on whether u want to share the risk with me, and guarantee can use with digi and celcom. I believe maxis sooner or later oso will be able to use but... i dont really care.Re firmware updates relocking the phone, i think probably will lock the phone but why would u need to update the firmware if its working fine? |

QUOTE(zc_squash @ Sep 15 2007, 01:52 PM) Probably mid-2008. I have a friend in LA now i thought of asking him to get one for me but have got no money at the moment. sigh. It canâeuro(tm)t record video. 13. âeuro Pinchingâeuro pictures to zoom might look neat in commercials, but many reviewers are saying it actually sucks. 14. It lacks 3G high-speed data transfer. 15. No songs as ringtones. 16. No GPS. 17. It doesnâeuro(tm)t work under 64-bit Windows XP / Windows Vista!!!!!!! Thanks for not including that in your Windows System Requirements, Apple! 18. Its âeuro quick listâeuro dialing sucks compared to traditional speed dialing, which it lacks.. 24. Long activation waits: many new iPhone users are reporting that they are being told to wait hours or even days to activate service for their phone. Thanks, AT&T! 25. Heat issues: the iPhone can get very hot when it is in use. 26. Deceptive Ads: Apple has been using models with gigantic hands in their advertisements for the iPhone in an effort to trick consumers into believing it is more compact. 27. Many of the positive press reports about the iPhone are influenced by newspapers and TV networks that simply want to profit from the hypefest, or even worse, reporters who are looking to sell books about the iPhone. 28. It creates incredibly annoying iPhone fanboys. |

QUOTE(Polaris @ Sep 15 2007, 05:47 PM) I have got absolutely no idea how much they would charge for tax, etc. But if you're only bringing one unit back will it still be charged? I mean you could always declare it as ur personal item or something to have the tax waved? LOL i'm not sure. Maybe someone could tell us. |

Jee, this guy is scorned!
1. At $599, it is ridiculously expensive. (Add in the cost of an AT&T contract and you get close to $1500) The price is now $399, and $299 appropriately depending on what version you get. 2. Those who want to buy one must sell their soul to evil mega-corporation AT&T. Not with the new iUnlock software. 3. Japan already has technologically superior phones, and theyâeuro(tm)re far cheaper. Maybe? But I doubt it integrates your computer, music and everything together as well as the iphone though. 4. Slower internet than the commercials show: âeuro The data experience is going to be very slow. If youâeuro(tm)re on a cellular network, [using the Internet] is going to be very slow.âeuro You should def. wait for the 3g version then 5. Initial reports indicate that YouTube is slow and crappy using cellular network internet/EDGE. Itâeuro(tm)s nothing like in the commercials. YouTube use would strictly be for wi-fi use if you want the best experience. 6. You cannot remove its battery. Thanks for replicating one of the biggest complaints about the ipod, Apple! I guess thats what the warranty is there for. 7. The glass touch screen of the iPhone guarantees that thousands of customers who drop their phones will have cracked screens. Hmm, i read otherwise -- individuals that have tested the phone found the screen rock solid. 8. The touchscreen keyboard sucks, according to those who have used the phone. Can't really disagree or agree on this one, perhaps a Treo would better suit your needs? 9. It canâeuro(tm)t send MMS picture messages. Not too important for me, but perhaps this would be a function apple could include in a firmware update. 10. The camera has little or no options, and the pictures it takes arenâeuro(tm)t very good. its a 2 MB camera, what are you expecting? My Nokia 6300 has a 2mb camera! If you want top of the range go buy an SLR! wow, I'm not going to go on...because the whining goes on and on...must be a complete anti-apple fanboy! some people can never be satisfied -- if you're not happy, don't buy it! or wait for iphone 2.0! |

i think iphone is a good gadget with flaws but is still worth it with current price
megahype and sucks? isn't it a bit to harsh. u have to admit the thing looks leagues prettier than any phone out there. and it's functions are pretty good. don't be so critical i hate iphone fanboys but then now i realise that iphone basher could just be as irritating |
