I would like to try quasar but i heard i need to prepare spare diskspace for dl? do i have to manually delete it everytime i watch a movie?

my question is , does it dl the movie everytime i play to watch?

Guys, i m totally new to KODI. Just installed yesteday on my laptop (window 10). After installed exodus. Get this Error: No stream available.Installed ICDrama, get this error: Fail to resolve URL. Installed KODIM, get this error instead: One or more items failed to play. Why ar? Is it line slow is an issue? Pls help, Sifus!

U have the option... some taikor here prefer to download and wacth later hence if this is the case, you'll need to prepare a HUGE diskspace

Myself, i'll watch/stream it. Once completed, as u exit, it'll prompt u if you like to keep the file, if answer no, then it'll delete them

yes, quasar needs the space to DL, a torrent app.
if yr box is 8gb, the balance left may be too little for most videos.
but u can set the path to ext usb drive in settings.
u also need the speed; if not it will too slow, won't work for the bigger files.
give it a try.

First check to confirm you have the latest addons and they are online at time of testing. I haven't had to use KODIM in awhile, so could be up or not.. Icdrama is known to go offline occasionally.. Exodus works, get the latest version. If problems still persist.. Check that Kodi has proper firewall access to the internet.. Else, nuke and start over.

Thread rage mode almost activated till I read your last sentence.. FYI, yes it requires the full disk space to even begin streaming. However (with sufficient space confirmed), in the addon settings, you can enable a "delete files after playback" to regain the space. Should you not be satisfied with Quasar, there are other instant streaming addons that don't require the full space to stream, only cache a certain portion and loops... Don't dare ask which, cuz thread rage mode will activate and you don't want that...

For Icdrama error you'll need to install addon:script.module.urlresolver-3.0.1_2.zip first.

Anyone here using trakt? i have install it but when i open the "my movies" on exodus, it mentioned no trakt connection. Do i need to set up something?

yes you need to authorize trakt to link to addons.
go to the settings of the addon, most of it has a tab for "Accounts" or something.
if there's Trakt, press on it. follow steps on screen.

of course the pre-requisite is to have a trakt account...
