One questions with Kodi on mibox 3S.
Previously on mibox 1s and kodi16, when i select a drama let it load or buffer for some time, i can watch it when i am free later since everything's loaded.

But with mibox 3S and kodi17, google's daydream screen saver will somehow interfere after some time, causing the loaded show to just stop and back to kodi's menu.

Anyone facing the same problem and any solution to this?

I am guessing that this maybe the mibox issue and I've tried to turn off daydream, but no such option to do so. At most, i can only set it to a longer period of 1 hour before it starts.

Alternatively, could this be a setting problem in Kodi? please advise.

what kodi version you are using? ftmc and kodi krypton get lot of good link.

u should try to contact mibox experts or the manufacturer.

google androidtv under settings has a place for u to activate or deactivate daydream, etc.

i would think yr box default has it turned ON.

i am saying this from my tv running on google androidtv - daydream is, by default, OFF.

Was on Krypton.

1st day running... there were 1080p, when I select, it re-scraps and autoplay some other SD source... lol

Few days later... shows SD sources only... didn't play any

I've nuked it but haven't try a reinstall...maybe I'll try it again later tonight...and maybe try FTMC too...

Just tested the Elysium with Kodi v17.3. auto play Beauty & the Beast. auto select 4K vid.

Now manually nuking Genesis Reborn...really dislike the UI... lol

which repo did u dl Elysium from?

GR is just a copycat of exodus, but half bake compare to elysium. lot of function is not

working.

Not you don't.. However, it wouldn't hurt to level it in..sometimes it helps get better links.. Want premium? Subscribe to their premium package.. Visit the official website for that... All in all, you have to understand, if HQ source file ain't there... Having premium won't change a thing.

My requirements don't have me using VPN with Kodi.. How about you check first.

tried using a build last time, it only lasted for a day as i prefer something simple and suit my family needs. thus, i ended up googling on how to create my own. using aeon skin is easier.

Precisely... That's the beauty of having options.. Some love builds (I used to fancy the Beast back then) and now I don't.. Lean, customized skin and mean.. Regular backups for quick restore.. All good.
