QUOTE(myliew @ Oct 5 2016, 12:05 PM) ya.....I notice it only have 2G space available.... I only install 7 basic apps (kodi, ES file, mx player, youtube, astro OTG, G drive, holo) You can have additional space by moving your kodi data out to sdcard.Data Location This post has been edited by redrum77: Oct 5 2016, 01:20 PM |

QUOTE(myliew @ Oct 8 2016, 12:52 PM) Hi.. I'm facing operation fail during step 2 as bellow. Did you try the tips from voncrane ?In the root directory of the internal storage of your device, usually just mnt/sdcard (not mnt/sdcard/root) create a plain text file called:Â xbmc_env.properties PIs advice This post has been edited by redrum77: Oct 9 2016, 01:37 AM |

QUOTE(myliew @ Oct 12 2016, 09:36 AM) thanks for the advice, but im still confuse. What is the error you getting ? this is what im doing.... 1. create NEW text file and type (xbmc.data=/storage/sdcard0/external_sdcard/kodi_data).... but for my case (using hypptv box) i type this (xbmc.data=/mnt/mmcblk1/mmcblk1p1/kodi_data). 2. save file and by defult the file will become .txt (xbmc_env.properties.txt) and i rename it to xbmc_env.properties 3. Place the file (xbmc_env.properties) at device under mnt/sdcard. 4. Copy the .kodi directory from /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/ to the same location as above (step 3). am i doing this correctly? BTW, my hypptv box is NOT rooted....can this be done? please advice For my file xbmc_env.properties this is what i have : xbmc.data=/mnt/mmcblk1/mmcblk1p1/Android/data/kodi_data And xbmc_env.properties i placed it in the ROOT folder . I think yours is correct too. Not too sure if it has to be in Android folder not . It can be rooted via KingRoot but dont do it. You will have issue in kodi where the streams will auto pause for no reason . |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Mar 8 2017, 01:17 AM) Formatted as say NTFS? Not FAT32.. Perhaps the USB drive is incompatible or too slow.. Try another. However, using the internal drive is still the best as it can handle fast read and write speeds required to store, buffer, play and maintain p2p connections, all at the same time. Sorted . Reformat it again to ntfs . All good now. Thx |
