never tried on krypton.. OK on jarvis

i have now used jarvis and krypton in parallel for a few weeks now.

if the repos and addons are done correctly, there is really no difference except:


.. audio pass thru will not work for most devices with kodi17.

.. the new kodi17 skin is nicer.

.. minimal diff in navigation, more intuitive in kodi17.


overall, i like kodi17 better.

Mine also use both.. v16 with spmc and v17 with kodi 😅..

By the way, for v17 you can add files directly (from url) to kodi and intergrate movie / tv show to kodi library.. work similar way like rss but with metadata and can be organize. No need for addon. Kind of nas but using online library..

Me too use both. Kodi16 is the main one though for my 4K tv & AVR. Kodi17 I experiment using my computer. Very smooth I must admit

anyone using layanon9? can view the video list and server list but cant play the video.

Anyone knows how to setup NextPVR with hypptv. i do search on internet, someone manage to do it but of course he is doing business.
