Guys, i followed the instruction for the chinese font. successfully installed and it can show chinese in my inbox and also file manager->music that has chinese song.

but now is the problem. it couldn't show the chinese when i play the songs. in the music player. it shows rubbish word and symbols. anyone solve this problem b4?

Isn't this more likely because of the encoding of the Chinese characters on your mp3 itself before you transfer it to your phone?

The chinese songs can show correctly in "File Manager" but just cant show correctly in the Music Player.

I bought AP set la of kos, updated with latest firmware and installed the Swiss Manager Pro. So far performance wise is good, no lag and hang at all.

Wah that's AP set right? Prices are getting cheaper and cheaper indeed.. mine was RM2.1k with worse package than yours a few months back.


So yours is English firmware or Singapore (Chinese)? Glad to hear the performance was good!

Solved. Just updated with the SEUS then i can set language in music player.

Depends on which particular version you're using, Generic World or Generic Singapore.

Can anyone share the SE P990i preset software such as the Golf games / pdf viewer / office application that was suppose to be built in when the phone comes. Cause i have master reset it and all the things just gone . Or anyone can tell me where to download it ?

im not a P990i user but a M600i user. it's weird that u have lost all the apps after u master reset the phone as after i did the same thing as u..my apps are still there. none are lost. if urs is an ori set..u can download them for free @ any SESC. or u can try to search online @ SE website or forums.

cda keys determine the firmware and region pack your phone should have when you do updating. some sort of identification.

This get into problem when need to reload using phone call. Eg, call for 122 to reload from maxis or 1312 to add activ5 . Did you also meet this kind of prob? I am using the latest firmware .

i'm a M600i owner. when the phone is connected to a call..the keypad can be used but when i call 1312 to activate avtiv5..it got no response. gotta use another spare phone to set the numbers. no idea whether the keypad can be use for when reloading or not. using postpaid now. hope these info helps.

Yeah, thats my problem. Cause wanna enjoy the free video call from maxis, i purposely bought this to play. Everyone here in sabah use Digi, too bad digi no 3g .

Got anyone can solve this problem ? Otherwise everytime wanna add fren to activ5, need to change phone again.
