If you buy a Civic with special offered price but they give you City with all sort of add on accessories so the price is same. You still got 4 wheels, got car seats, etc.

both are city
they sell u full spec at discounted price
now change to lowest spec but dealer add everything and accessories for u

or

u order mcchicken set at ala carte price
but now they change to
selling u ala carte but free fries and coke

then now those who had set at ala carte price , want extra fries and coke again , because they claim that everyone who has the burger are supposed to get equal treatment and therefore entitled it , technically its correct but practically it can't work since u already bought set at discounted price.

well ur analogy makes sense. however you're missing 1 thing.

honda city - they add all the accesories except 1 thing is still missing

mc chicken - they did not give the 'toy' that comes with it.

in MOP158's case, they should also include spotify premium and that data share plan thingy.

MOP98, doesnt have free spotify premium and data share plan.

So if Maxis downgrade special MOP158 customers, they are actually taking some of the benefits those special customers are entitled to.

CS called based on my yesterday complaint, quite effective when they said new 5 days to retrieve the recorded conversation. She said i will stay at MOP98 but with 9GB (free 4GB as long as I stayed in the plan) but i have to pay for spotify premium. Blasted her again, i told her what i need is 7GB (if they want to give extra, I will be thankful), unlimited calls and sms and spotify premium with 15GB streaming with RM88 for 2 years. She still can't fulfilled the spotify so i told her, as fas as I'm concerned, I'm still subcribe to MOP188 plan with RM100 rebate. Maxis system had been illegally migrate me to MOP98 which I will not accept. Ask her to lodge a complaint again, she said the outcome will be the same. I told her, then I will lodge my complaint everyday. One i have enough complaint reference, i will go to SKMM and tribunal court. If spotify is given, then all issues will end as simple as that. I told her, u give me 9GB also useless as I already find it hard to finish the 8GB now. Let see what will happened next.
I know I being difficult but I'm exercising my right as consumer.

Had the same case with TS, MOP 158 turned into MOP 98, spotify not included anymore.
Called CS, they said MOP158 shown initially in apps was just a header for 5GB data...wth.

Right now i'm seeing my data in maxis apps as follow:
1)Free 3GB (45 days)
2)Free 4GB monthly ( I suppose this bundle together with 1GB previously)
3)MaxisOne 5GB

This cannot be right, as I'm sure they would have told you it's MOP158 with RM90 rebate when you agreed. You should ask for the recording of the call when you agreed to the contract.

Yea, you're right, 4GB start date on 21st April, guess next month I will not have this.
Argued that I was offered MOP158 with RM90 rebate and was downgraded to MOP98 without my consent, CS agreed but now keep insist that the new plan will be leaving everything unchanged. On Spotify, she say I was not offer previous month also..zz
