coz i wanna use win xp... i jus trying to install the windows so jus removed the freedos.

btw i manage to install win xp.. now i am in driver part, all driver solved except sound.. still working on it
one thing i learn is that we have to use "VIRGIN WINXP" i mean nothing done with it, if planning to use F6 Method:P i.e win v3 doesnt worked for me
and for the driver part we have to google and download it straight from the vendor of the component...

well, as for the audio driver part, i've collected both the modem audio and HD audio driver by getting different model's driver

i check all V3000 using sp34152.exe and the older version....i tried both....but still prob with my wifi....

is that driver sp34152.exe not same with other v3000 wifi driver....

ok is there anybody here who has changed their mobo once and never had any problems after that?? i've changed my mobo back in october last year and up until now so far so good. only the usual problem lah; heat issue.

When my mobo was changed last year in July..I thought hey, my problems are over...but just days before the CNY holidays...the unthinkable happens...my notebook refuse to boot up. ..but there signs already before the big crunch. The notebook ..twice did not boot up but when I switch off and on again...it started. I already know what was coming next. I did not send it in to HP becos they will just waste yr time and check a little and tell u there is nothing wrong. You will have to wait for it to KAPUT then u send it in. Took them like 3 weeks to get it done...geeeshhh.

damnn. the signs r very much similar to my friend's laptop. refuse to boot up, random crash.sometimes the blue screen appear.
this laptop is like xbox360 lah.no permanent solution yet

im one of the ppl who changed mobo and no prob afterall.maintaining smooth performance.max heat encounter is 84C, not going higher than that.u noe why?i dont play DOTA anymore but CS reloaded.haha

v3000 series geforce card for amd turionx2 mobo is only 'CLIPPED' on the board with 'FIBER PVC' clippers.it is not WIRED on the board permanently.so when mobo burns, it means the clippers melt and spoilt the board trials.To solve the prob u got 3 ways:
1. dont play heaty games with high reso..such as DOTA(imagine mainting 80C for 1 hour daily)
2. get the graphic card wired permanently.of coz u have to DIY.
3. get another brand afterall.coz v3k series seems do not keep u satisfied.

Notebook Cooler Pad could help..? As I know 80C almost the chip threshold temp...
