already changed my mobo. work fine now. once again 3years HP carepack save the day. if my warranty only 1 year sure i need to buy the new 1.

like bububang said, when the mobo burned:

-cannot turn on the notebook. the led light up but nothing on the monitor. hdd also not spin up, only cpu fan working. the early symptom is the notebook hang with distortion image on the monitor.

Anyone here using a V3758TU model?

I'm having some problems with the sound driver. The laptop speakers still emits sound even if I plugged in my headphones. I tried mindkiller6610's guide, but the driver wasn't compatible with my model.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

101C no auto shutdown? 101C on CPU can claims warranty jor, mine 101C, that's why changed the HSF

If I am not wrong, HP Presario can buy warranty within the first 3 month purchase,

Now I only notice that they no longer have on-site, but 3 days pickup and return warranty. cheaper price, I got mine for RM350, last time online (one year ago) got discount somemore, call phone, no discount, doh.gif

I've experienced excessive temperature on my V3000 with intel processor. I used air duster to clean the dust from the holes at the behind part. The temperature went back to normal around 50-60C.

Anyone here has V3000 laptop with broadcom wireless card? Does anyone know where to buy the original compaq broadcom wireless card? Can we buy directly from HP?

oo, for GPU, i am not sure about the GPU,

HSF is the heat sink fan, once the CPU > 100C , it will auto shutdown

if i am not wrong, the GPU is inside the IGP? and I don't think it is covered by any Heat Sink Fan at all, that's heavy gaming 'may' burn the board?
