mine lappy starting got problem.. after i shut down my pc the next time when i try start.. it show blank screen.. the only way i can do is hold power button then press it again..

i noe this is for compaq v3000 series...i couldnt find a thread for the b1213 series so ma ask here lo

actualy u can go survey its specs la..sumtimes u juz judge a lappie by the specs..have to consider by all means..

the best specs dont mean best performance at all time..juz my opinion!correct me if im wrong.

alrite currently i having a fren brought this presario laptop....model number is v3754tu and product name is v3700....is a OS less laptop and now wan to install win xp...i tried and the installation fail as it says cant detect harddisk...also i have no idea where to find all the winxp driver for this model...can anyone help me out? how to install the xp with harddisk not detected?

instal the sata hdd 1st..but how i dunno.hhehe.coz im using ide hdd.

Hi all, just got a Compaq presario 3713AU, and i install it with WinXP, the seller did give me some driver, but most of them dont work... sad.gif

lucky the networking work, so ir go online and update most of the driver, except the Audio driver, i can't find the brand as it only written there "Audio Device on Hi Definition Audio Bus" at the Device manager...

I was tension too. I bought a V3754TU and an XP Home OEM. Before getting all the drivers from the internet, I already activated the XP Home. Anyway, if you manage to get the drivers, do let everyone know. I still can't get the sound, modem and WLAN working.

Now, I decided to get a Vista Basic for the Laptop. And try to do Dual boot, since I got some work related softwares work only in XP.

bro, i tried already, can't, is a vista driver for ethernet rite? i hang at around 95%.....

wow..spoilt mobo often happen to amd procs only..seldom happen to intel..back up ur stuff 1st i tell u.or if ur free, try drop by the service centre..juz tell them to inspect ur lappie,especially the mobo.sometimes they will tell u watever u dono about ur lappie..eg:u din even relize the slightest failure of ur mobo yet they claim its going to rosak soon, they change for u.haha!!

fuh...after a long trial n error...
now the only problem for me is about the conexant thing! peningnya akuuu..

dear all, i still havent problem with my notebook...1st is the XP, i notice when i want to install the UAA, it will load the program, then when it want to pop out for installtion, somehow it disappear, hence, i can't complete my installation...

then i try to reinstall the winXP but it hang at the setup.....

vista version still cant find the ethernet driver....

tried call HP support, not helpful at all !!!!
