GUYS
in order to claim ur waranty, be sure that u fulfill these criteria.
1. make sure ur pc prob is realy occuring that often till they notice it when u giv it to them.
2. don try to make ur pc even worse, they wont help u if they found that u PURPOSELY did that.
3. plz be sure to insert back the ORI ram with the waranty stickers on it back to ur lappie b4 u turn out for waranty claim
4. don say the truth unles the truth is the truth..(eg:u wack ur lappie coz u download stupid stuff from stupid sites and it damage ur lcd..bla bla bla.tink they wont help u then..)
5. u don nd the receipt to claim waranty, just ur name, ic and hp num will do.
6. double check ur waranty expiry thru HP & Compaq teleservice, thou its realy time consuming..they ask u to press numbers just like when u call for 122 for hotlink and 126 for digi stuff..haiz..long way to reach the operator..

wanna ask v3614 user, is it no sound when click the quick launch button like button mute, volume +- ? coz other v3000 series that i had used b4 got sound when click it. is it my lappie prob or v3600 series is no sound when click the quick launch button?

Just got the V3632TU FreeDos model. a bit regret now coz hv to go all the trouble to install OS and is always not smooth - i use a Vista DVD and it doesnt boot even though i already set DVD-rom to be the 1st to boot; then in FreeDos console when i DIR the DVD is empty but i DIR a DVD movie can see the files. I checked the Vista DVD in WinXP it looks okay, and looks like hv bootmgr and stuff that make it bootable...

sigh it's time to dig the internet, forums, then trial and error again. Anyone face similar issue pls let share share ur exp. ya

i think i m willing to pay someone to setup the OS for me to save the trouble, old liao:P

out of topic, if my wireless modem router let it stand vertical, then how about the antenna? mine is aztech 605EW, got 2 antenna leh...
