Guys..I just bought V3218TU. Having trobles while installing drivers, but managed to overcome it. I doubted if I did correctly, please check my attached photo which show the properties of my computer. The system displayed "Genuine Intel ® CPU" but not "Intel Dual Core..." Is this normal or I missed out some driver?

hi guys just went to lowyat and one of the shop offered me V3165Au (AMD 1.6 TL50) with upgrade to 2GB ram for Rm 3000.

Is this offer ok? i know the v3100 series is discontinued and replaced with v3200 series but the lappie should be ok ?

3100 series and 3200 series basically it is the same.. the only difference is that 310 uses old CMOS and BIOS information and 3200 uses the latest BIOS software..... but BIOS can be updated..... so I see no difference!!!!!

I dunno wat's wrong with my V3040TU d...Juz now when I doing project, it suddenly pop out 1 blue screen saying dunno wat "critical ..." things and need to be restart...the screen juz appear for 1 seconds then my laptop automatically restart...luckily MS WOrd had recovered my documentation but i need to redo my Visio drawing...T T

Any one face the same problem before? Wat's wrong with my laptop? I juz open 6-8 documents, and accessing internet using wireless...

before also got one time, where i leave my laptop on...there i go to toilet, juz for 3 minutes...when i back the laptop is turned off already...wat the problem huh?

May be effect by virus or bug.

U can avoid restart by following below instructions:
right click "my computer"->properties->Advance->setting->untick "automatically restart" In "system failure" part.

After disable, please scan for virus and remove it.

beside bug/virus, will hardware failure cause the problem also?

Use http://www.trendmicro.com/hc_intro/default.asp to scan it online to identify potential threat.

Yesterday I think I also kena similar error and found spywares inside my comp. My AVG also cannot detect it... better check properly.

Hardware failure seldom happened(u can try to remove the RAM n install back neatly). May be is ur latest installed software crashed the windows file alr. U got backup the system? Try to restore back.

I also eyeing on this promotion. right now they only have offer for V3204TU but i prefer those with TurionX2.
Anyway the HP guys told me to submit the application form first woh...
Do you guys think is it possible to change the model or upgrade with HP after the application was approved?

I need the laptop very soon, whether can wait or not....
