I think highlighted is your problem.

You did transfer to the same bank. consider as 1 transaction only.

I do not think the 'same bank' is the case as long as the transfer or payment was made to different account number then it would be entitled.

How many payments did you split #3? Saw one of the past comment saying that just doing splitting credit card payment into 3 payments in a month will qualify you for the incentive.

I’m trying to find out which am I missing. I think that went wrong.
1. I transferred RM500 from my CIMB to OCBC 360 and transferred RM1 back from my OCBC 360 to my CIMB.
-Maybe the source of RM500 cannot be one of the bill payment.

2. Topped up RM550 BigPay with OCBC 360 and then transferring RM548(RM2 fee) to the same account will invalidate the Retail Purchase condition.

Things I’m planning to change:
1. Changing my CIMB account to my mother/father’s account
2. From BigPay, transfer to my CIMB bank instead of back to the same OCBC 360.
*
Agreed with jefftan4888 to find out with bank cs first before assuming the change needed to be made. Curious to know what is not qualified too. hmm.gif

I got all 3 bonus interests

My bills payment fulfillments are:-

1. Transfer to my mother RHB SA
2. Transfer to my my own SCB SA
3. Payment of OCBC credit card (multiple times but same account number)

Since it’s stated multiple transfer is considered one, then transfer to parents SA should qualify then?

#1. Bill Payment 1
#2. Bill Payment 2
#3. Bill Payment 3+n

What you did:
1. RM500 transfer - fulfilled requirement for RM500 deposit into account + RM 1 into CIMB - fulfill 1/3 Bill Payment
2. BigPay RM550 - fulfilled RM500 spending requirement + RM 500 deposit requirement (why do it twice?)

where is the other 2 transaction of your bill payment or IBFT?
To conclude from what I read, you only fulfilled 2/3 requirements for the 1.3%x3 interest rates

Please check above quote on cucikaki's fulfillment of bill payment breakdown.

Your plan to change:
1. Changing my CIMB account to my mother/father’s account - No different because I can fulfill by using my own accounts
2. From BigPay, transfer to my CIMB bank instead of back to the same OCBC 360 - No difference

My 2 cents (for your case since you mentioned BigPay)
1. Use OCBC card to topup BigPay
2. Transfer BigPay back into OCBC
3. Do 3+n IBFT to your CIMB or whichever non OCBC account (if you're using OCBC CC then bill payment is considered)

Edit: Please take into account the posting and transaction dates as both needs to be in the same month

I only get 2 incentives this month. I did the following
1. Transferred to 3 bank accounts, 2 of them is mine from CIMB and Public Bank, one is to my parents CIMB account.
2. Top up BigPay for RM500 and then transferred back to my OCBC account.
3. Transfer RM500 from my CIMB Bank to OCBC bank.

Am I missing something?

Very strange, lately I was overseas and could only do this.

1. Transferred to 2 bank accounts of mine at other banks and paid the maintainance fee for the condo by recurring IBG transfer
2. Top up BigPay for RM500
3. Transfer RM500 from my CIMB Bank to OCBC bank

All worked I got all 3 bonuses.

So my guess is that they did not like the BigPay In/Out. I left the 500 at BigPay to be safe.

Disagree with both these statement.

1. Transfer 500 from other bank to ocbc360 will qualify for the deposit criteria.
2. Reload 550, transfer back will qualify for both spending and deposit criteria. its 2 different thing.

Yup, happened to me. Payment of OCBC CC itself, kena charge late payment charges, however CS said they have reversed it out.

I made payment around 9.50pm - 10pm.

They reminded that OCBC has no longer grace period. Hence, please pay before 9pm on the payment due date to avoid any charges in the future. Since it's my first time, so they agree to waive it. But in the future, cannot wait anymore. CS also said our conversation is recorded. Ahahaha, oh wells. lesson learnt.

Hello!i did the same 1 mth ago. Gotten back only 2 of the 360 interest. The cs say must use ocbc credit card to top up bigpay then consider as retail for the criteria fulfilment. If transfer from 360 not considered.

There is no cut-off time applies for Instant Transfer. It is available 24x7, 365 days.

But this is not applicable for OCBC CC payment?

Only ocbc has cut off time for IBFT.. but, they have no right to charge late payment if we can proof that we did the IBFT on due date / via OCBC online banking.. just that hassle to call everytime to ask them to reverse due to their own system “defect”..

So, better pay early morning or b4 9pm

what i mean but cut off is that, any transaction received by OCBC after 9.45pm/9.30pm will be considered next day.

when I made payment, my credit limit increased, hence, it is still instant transfer. My payment is made on 1 Nov 10pm, however, it is shown as 2 November - as OCBC treat any transaction after 9.45pm as the next day. Hence, that why i kena late charges. But since it is my first time and they do check I memang pay on 1 November, just that system shows 2 November, they agree to waive it. But only for this time. Next time gone case dy.

She advise the latest time to make payment is 8.59pm, to avoid any penalty in the future.
