Good evening, I've just found out all block in Scott Garden has TIME couple days ago and available for register. But I've actually installed with TM Unifi couple months ago when there was no TIME.
May I know is there any way to transfer to TIME without any penalty from TM Unifi?

Dear bro

Thanks for your interest in time fibre , we have been helping a lot forumer who still have contract with tm to get away from any penalty all the while.

On top of that , there is some thing special for current unifi customer which still have contract with TM

Thanks

When they did installation at my place last year, they only charged extra length of cable. They drill hole, did cabling and patched up at no cost.

Can you help me the other way around? I mean, moving from Time to another provider sad.gif

Unfortunately will be moving houses before my two year contract is up, and obviously Time wont be available at the new place.

Dear bro

For termination of time fibre contract , one month written notice is required. Eg. If you wish the contract to be end on 30 Oct , you need to fill in termination form and sent to cs@time.com.my by 30 Sept .

Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks

Mine is Asus AC1200G+  = the lowest end of the lot. On the plus side it has SOOO MUCH control over devices, built-in firewall, bandwidth limiter, and you can even schedule it to reboot every Sunday (for example) to refresh your connection. Signal strength is pretty good too.

Bro, how much this router? Can cover whole house say a 1,200 sq ft area?

Hi Guys, Would like to know is anyone facing such problem or this question being asked before.

I have been using TIME Internet for past one year.
Recently I found out one issue, my connection speed (WiFi) will dramatically drop to 3-4mbps after turning on less than 48hours.
I have to restart everything to get back my normal speed (Around 38mbps using wifi)

This actually only happen last 2 months.

Is anyone facing such issue and is there anyway that can make it more stable?

Try to contact technical support from TIME but the only solution from them is restart.

Thank you guys

What about speed via LAN? Is it ok? Which router are you using? Dlink or ZTE stock router from TIME?
If only WiFi got issue, then it's router issue.
I have been using TIME for 2 years now, I never had such issue, but I'm not using the router provided by TIME.
Only getting 38mbps? you are not getting the full potential of TIME. Maybe either your device or your router does not support AC wifi.

The speed via LAN is closed to 100mbps, around 80 to 90...Seldom using the LAN Cable.
I am using the router tower provided by TIME.
Yes I am noticed that as well. This is the same speed I got for WIFI since the first day of installation.
Sorry to ask, what is AC wifi?

Currently I am using 2.4GHz connection. Even I try to use the 5.0GHz connection, speed is about the same.

Using 2.4ghz N wifi, it is very difficult to get close to 100mbps.
AC wifi is the 5ghz wifi with 433/867/1300 mbps bandwidth.
Using AC wifi (433mbps device), I can get 80 - 280mbps depending on the distance from the router.

Since you subscribed TIME a year ago, you must be using DLINK 850L router, I never used it but there are a lot of complaints about this router.

It's about RM440. Coverage is okay for 2.4GHz, AC quite limited, but I think you will probably need a repeater somewhere.
