Using 2.4ghz N wifi, it is very difficult to get close to 100mbps.
AC wifi is the 5ghz wifi with 433/867/1300 mbps bandwidth.
Using AC wifi (433mbps device), I can get 80 - 280mbps depending on the distance from the router.

Since you subscribed TIME a year ago, you must be using DLINK 850L router, I never used it but there are a lot of complaints about this router.

Thanks for the information.
Should look for a better router with high speed and stable connection.
The only issue I am facing now is just the sudden lost of internet speed...

Yes, I suggest you look for a better router, preferably from Asus or TP-Link, if you want to enjoy a better connection as ralyon has explained in his posts.

Hi,

Try to use the given TP-Link first, so far we tested speed is fairly good. Only some minor bugs found.

Our team is still monitoring its performance.

Thanks.

TP Link Archer C1200 is a good router, but if you want better features and performance, of course Asus is better. You might not need it though, so just depends on your need.
