I'm currently on subscription to Maxis Home fibre 10mb in an old apartment.
There's no fiber optic cabling to our unit, jz using existing tel line (copper).
So far speed okay for 10mb.

Now I have intention to switch to TIME 100mbps, question is that will they install fiber optic cabling into our unit ?
If subscribe TIME 100mb after 1 year and wish to upgrade to 300mb is there any charges ?

Anymore promotion for new customer ?

My story is like this, i was using IPTV 6mb when it was first launched, then one day I received a call from astro, say upgrade to 10MB for free because I am loyal customer but tied up 2years contract. After I signed up, 2-3 months later I can see it online, the same package offer to new subscriber for the same price. And then after another few months, Time release 100mb at my condo. Its obvious they knew its coming, so quickly tied up current customer with 2 years plan. So I felt cheated, maybe not so much from Astro but the telesales giving all sales talk. So with few months to go, I rather pay double line for Time and cancel the day my astro contract over.

Just worried, after sign up, another deal from astro or time on this 100mb line. So wondering anyone have insider news.

Right now I'm using the time version under astro so its 10mbps but I want get that 100mbps so I want to know if I can get the speed and the astro cause my mother and grandmother use astro a lot

Anyone else got "throttled" download speed? A week ago I still got 5-10 mBps download (I'm on 300 mbps plan), but it's currently < 1 mBps. Even 40% of the time (I guess) is < 500 kBps.

Question for all the TIME SIs, have you all encountered issues whereby other telco's installer disrupt your customer's fiber connection?

I personally know 1 person that had her Fiber plugged out at the MDF room of her condo. She found out after her SI came on site and saw the fiber unplugged.

I'm not making allegations here but this morning Telco T came to install a connection on level 10 around 11am. I came home at 1.30 and found out my ONU's LOS light is red. Called support and found no fiber cut nor OLT failure in the area.

Can anyone tell me what the default password for the DIR-850L should be?

I had it installed some time ago, and never needed to log in until recently - but now I've no idea what it is. What strikes me as most odd is there's no username field, just password, but whatever. What is it likely to have been set to be the technician?

I'm currently using TL-WR841HP, if I were to change to D-Link DIR-850L, is there any benefits doing so?

How is the C7 performance compared to the D Link?
