I'm cancelling my Time/Astro IPTV because I felt I'm being ripped with 10Mb/s for RM149 and Astro contents are repetitive and doesn't appeal to me.

Question:
Going to change to 100Mb/s but I heard they are giving the Huawei/D-link combo but I'm on the Linksys router and to my amaze I love the router....it doesn't hang since 3 years ago and I have not shut down for the past 3 years.

Will Huawei/D-link modemrouter is as stable as the Linksys I'm using or recommended to go for Asus?

Hi, I'm wondering is there any chance to find out the progress of coverage availability of my high rise. the customer service just followed up half way and then they totally ignored my email. I do received a call from coverage team telling me if they will cover my area or not after my management submit the approval form but no more news from them. I had waited my request since year 2012. Nearby Building which surrounding my areas all of them had been fabricated years ago even the new building but not mine.

I do commented in TIME facebook page and submitted interest form almost every day. No news too.

Guys, I just installed my 100MBps and noticed that the stock router that TIME supplied comes with dual band, 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.

Apparently, connected to 5.0GHz yield faster speed but the problem with this stock router is that the coverage is week.

I was using an Asus RT N12HP router and when I replaced it, only one access point appeared and I'm guessing it's the 2.4GHz because it reflects so on the router setting page.

Is there any router equivalent to the RT N12HP that gives out 5GHz?

My house is approximately 1,9k square feet and the router is located in the dry kitchen area, which is in the middle of the house. Using the stock TIME router, my master bedroom gets no connectivity

TIME broadband finally arrived at our condo and mind telling us, why should we get TIME and ditch UNIFI now?
FYI, we're still under contract after renew it for "free upgrade" to 30Mbps, LOL.

Do you offer Time installations with Ubiquiti EdgeRouter? I'm a Ubiquiti fan.

I just live in a 700sqf apartment. When connect via the cable can easily reach 96-98mbps which is almost near full speed but if wifi which is only at 30mbps. Is a powerful router e.g RT-AC68U capable to help to achieve full speed even connected via wifi? BTW, I am a new 100mbps TIME subscriber.

Just want to ask, for TIME 100 Mbps customers, which router is better: D-Link DIR 850L to Xiaomi Router 3 (http://www.mi.com/miwifi3/)?

Our place is about 1000 sq ft, and the main usage will be in the living room, which is < 10 meters away. Main usage is streaming (youtube, drama, etc.) and a little bit of file sharing (external HDD on the router's USB port).

Note that we only have the two choices above for now.

I'm assuming if we're only using it on 100 Mbps subscription line, the gigabit port won't make much difference going from the modem to the router, right? This is because although the WAN port can go beyond 100 Mbps on D-Link, TIME will still limit it up to 100 Mbps?
Also, from the router to the house (LAN), we'll only be using wifi for file sharing, so the LAN ports won't be used.

I'm contemplating to switch to Time as Unifi is really bad and my building has Time service. The reason I chose Unifi earlier because I could use the existing telephone ports in the condo while Time may need to have some drilling.

Can someone share information on the installation of Time internet with me as the room that I wish to have it installed is quite far from the main door?

i would like to know whether TIME will only do installation during work days or possible during the weekend as well?

in my apartment, broadband fibre point is already installed in each unit. i think the installer only need to connect fibre wire to the modem from the point.
