What is the recommended and stable version of firmware for dlink 850L for Time?

This is because i'm still having problem with the 5ghz wifi and would like to try update the firmware, is it ok if i use the firmware from dlink website other than Malaysia?

some questions regarding the cable installation within the house, will the tech able (or capable) to drill multiple through holes through the walls?? or they just come with the glue gun and hammer and some wall mounting things??

Below my current floor plan, if i want to put at my current (center) location, then the tech would require to drill 3 through holes into the Bed Room #1 , while if put at living room only 1 hole required, but I'm worry the DIR-850L TX Power are very hard to reach/cover for the Master Room as it need to penetrate through 3 walls within ~13 meters (40 feets radius)... 

my office using time fibre internet plus. any other better compatible router that work with time broadband. did not satisfied with the router they supply.

Can I use asus RT-AC66U to connect? If can plz assist me, according to the customer service I can't do that

ok i added blacklist script (im using mikotik router) and change the default ssh, ftp and telnet port.

now no more hiccup. been online with no disconnection for the whole weekend

A question..

1) I installed TIME 100mbps @ 128 at PJ rented house. But I moved out to Bukit Jalil.
2) Bukit Jalil don't have TIME, so I installed Unifi, yet and leave the TIME at PJ house due to 2 year contract. (6 months left)
3) Now I saw my condo got TIME Fibre equipments and asked the management, they said they are installing TIME.

Main Question: If I wanted to transfer TIME from PJ to current house, at the same time cancel Unifi. Will TIME pay the RM500 penalty for me?

I just subscribed to Time Fibre 300Mbps last week.I'm only getting half of the speed like 120Mbps.What seems to be the problem?

Just got my 100mb installed yesterday, connection was great until around 12 something am (not really sure)...
no internet at all (LOS blinking).. still no connection at the time i'm off to work this morning.. . 

Bukit Gambier area... anyone having same problem?

I'd like to subscribe for the 500Mbps package, is the RM500 penalty by Unifi still covered by any agent? Because we're still under Unifi's contract.

Just got my TIME Broadband installed. I subscribe for the 500mbps package. I'm just wondering is it normal to get average 170-200mbps if I'm on the 500mbps internet connection?

During the installation period, I was given the liberty to test the speed on my mac using the LAN cable, and this is the result.



When the installation guys went away, I began to test again, and I found that the speed slowly degrades overtime. From 475Mbps down to drastic 170Mbps.



So I restart the modem and plug in my LAN cable again, and this is the speed I got, slightly improved to 223Mbps.


Is this normal on the TIME 500Mbps? I'm feeling cheated, should have sign up for the 300Mbps if I can't get it pass 300Mbps on the TIME 500 Mbps.
